After investigating this further, I'm fairly certain that problem originates in the following lines of the clamp_mss() function in route.c: [...] csum ^=

tinc stopped working after restart
All nodes was connected both 1.1pre10 and 1.1pre11 before "tinc -n vpn restart" at Node 1. Shouldnt at least the 1.1pre10 nodes connect again? 2015-05-18 23:39 GMT+02:00 Guus Sliepen <guus at tinc-vpn.org>: > On Mon, May 18, 2015 at 11:04:09PM +0200, ?smund Rabbe wrote: > > > One of the nodes (Node5) stopped working a while ago (2 - 3 weeks or so), > > other

keeping UDP "session" alive when using NAT
I'm running Tinc on a Linux machine inside my home network, connecting through a NATing router to a Tinc server out on the Internet. I've noticed that fairly frequently the SSH sessions I leave open (but unused) get aborted with a "Connection reset by peer" message. When I investigated closely, I found that after a period of inactivity my router times out the UDP

Is there any chance some configuration file on Node 1 got changed somehow after the previous time you started up the daemon, such that when you restarted it recently it came up with a different configuration than it had before?

I installed zenoss (very cool, http://www.zenoss.org) and things are OK. when I use emacs or when somethings like a cron job execute, I get notice of an error... emacs: /opt/zenoss/lib/libpng12.so.0: no version information available (required by emacs) or /usr/bin/webalizer: /opt/zenoss/lib/libpng12.so.0: no version

OT: forwarding SNMP traps
Can anyone here give me a hand with forwarding snmp traps? I'm looking at Zenoss and I want to see how it handles snmp traps. We currently have snmp traps getting sent to two servers. One of them is basically ignoring the traps, but I can't just change the ip address (to give to Zenoss) because of other things the host is doing. So instead I'd like to simply forward the snmp traps

Paravirt network interfaces and snmp
Hi, We are using Zenoss to monitor a number of paravirt Linux hosts (using the xen net device), it appears that an snmp query to the paravirt hosts is reporting the interface speed as 10mbit - which is significantly lower than what it really is (the dom0 host has 1gbit networking). This causes the occasional spurious error from the monitoring tool as it notices that a host is using 75% of its

Shared object packaging in rpm
I whipped up a quick spec to package Zenoss' wmi client and noticed it creates a libasync_wmi_lib.so.0 and libasync_wmi_lib.so.0.0.1 that their python script would otherwise copy during its install routine (obviously I wrote a native rpm section for installation). Anyone know the naming convention associated with so's when they get compiled, what is the .0.1 extra file used for, they are
