Windows service tincd behaves different from command line tincd
Providing logs will greatly increase your chances of people helping you.
Do 'tincd -n VPNname -D -d2' or -d3 or -d4 until you see error messages, do
this on both sides.
My common mistake is forgetting to copy the public cert to the other side.

Problem starting connection - build tinc VM
Hello,
I have send the message below this message before. I guess nobody is
familiar with my problem.
So the next step is "use the source".
The thing is I'm a windows developer. I have tried to build tinc before,
a few years ago. And I know the linux developers think it is easy. And
it always is, once you know what to do. But I got so many errors last
time, I just gave up.

Having problems connecting
Parke,
Thank you for your suggestion, but I am already using those subnet settings.
And how could they be wrong if the two peers start communicating at some point without changing the settings?

Having problems connecting
One of the nodes is running without a firewall. The other is on a public Azure server and can't run without firewall. It is running without firewall on its own (10.23.23.1) network card.
How could the firewall do this when it starts running after some time without changing anything to the firewall?

Receiving packet failed: (10054) (2nd post)
Thank you for your response.
Yes, I know something changed, hence the smiley.
I have looked at the code (I was able to build it under the new windows bash).
It turns out that the error was on a udp receive, not a tcp connection. Didn't know you would get this error.
Anyhow near the location of the error there was a remark about IPv6. I hadn't looked at that yet.
So I turned IPv6 off at

Having problems connecting
I am having problems connecting two computers over the vpn.
Form the debug messages it looks like the two computers are connected via tcp on port 655.
But when I try to ping the other computer I get the message:
Cannot route packet from TrackServer (MYSELF): unknown IPv4 destination address 10.23.23.255
One computer has the VPN ip address 10.23.23.1, the other 10.23.23.2. The network mask is

Hello,
I have a problem connecting to one of my computers using tinc 1.0.x on Windows.
It used to work, now it suddenly stopped (and nothing changed :) )
We have a server with a known ip address and port forwarding set.
All computer connect to this server.
I can ping from my computer (laptophenk) to the server and some other computers but not to jeffrey2015. When I set tincd to -D -d4 I get ( I

Oh, maybe I'll have to add proper handling of Macintosh file endings to
tinc then...

When something worked for a long time but now it's not, then there was
a change. It's time to determine where!

I believe there is a difference, with Tinc, between nodes connecting
to each other, and nodes deciding to route VPN traffic to

Re-write callerid?
Is it possible to rewrite caller id's?
I would like to have sip phones appear by their local cid
(like Henk <208>) but when they call out using the PRI I would like their
full DID (MSN) to appear (like 0031201234567)
I could ofcourse set callerid to the main phonenumber but surely there
must be a better solution?
Thanks!!

Using snmp for APC smarts
Hi,
I'm new to nut. I have some 100 APC Smart-UPS 2200 & 3000's and
I'm trying to do some calibration test on them. I've installed nut,
with
driver = snmp-ups
mibs = apcc
in ups.conf. I can read the variables using upsc. However it seems,
I can't actually execute commands on the UPSses this way.
( upscmd some-ups calibrate.start )
Do I miss something, or are those

Icecast streaming https
I am struggling to get icecast running with https, but I cannot get it working
My environment is: Debian 10 (Buster)
I tried the standard debian package but there is no SSL capability at all.
So I compiled the icecast-2.4.4.tar.gz contents with ./configure --with-curl --with-openssl; make; make install
I always get the error: [2020-02-05 17:35:36] INFO connection/get_ssl_certificate

Multi ISP, multi address, masq file
I''m planning a multi isp setup and cafully read the
documentation. One thing that bothers me is the masq
file. The example uses a single ip address on each
public interface. I have multiple addresses on both
public interfaces (16 on one and 64 on the other).
I''m a bit confused about what to put in the masq file
in this situation. Any insights would be appreciated.

Our client we use a netgem-netbox.
We are streaming 25kbps MP3 on V90-56kbps modem connection
After around 45 minutes after starting the cleint the icecast error.log

Re: Two Node Cluster
Hi Peter and other Libvirt-Users,
Thank you, I greatly appreciate your response. The diagram I provided may
be a little misleading, so I have attached a new diagram (also available
here: https://i.imgur.com/X3nFMCz.png ). I think I also need to provide
some more detail about my scenario here:
These physical nodes are provided to me by "bare-metal cloud" providers
