tinc 1.1: missing PONG
Here's a diff to call WSAWaitForMultipleEvents() repeatedly to check
for events other than the first one returned. I've also added a
map of io_t to events[] index so avoid the need for splay_search().
The value of event_count will change if a callback adds an event
so we need to handle that.
I've added a generation number to the splay tree head that gets
incremented by io_del().

So basically you would store a generation number in the tree that
gets incremented by a call to io_del()? Or should the flag/number
be changed each time the order of the tree changes?

That's great, less changes to the tree are good.

Need help starting Plasma Pong
Alright, so I have no issues getting Plasma Pong started...as long as I run it through the command line. ie:
Code:
wine "C:\Plasma Pong\Plasma Pong.exe"[quote]
That example works fine...as long as it's done in a terminal.
However, the game seems to not like being ran without a terminal. (I can't just click on the .exe file to run it).
I'm wondering if there's a way

Plasma Pong
Hi,
I'm trying to get Plasma Pong 1.3c (www.plasmapong.com) running, and
according to the appdb, 1.3b works with 0.9.33. However, I can't get it
to work right now with 0.9.37 or 0.9.40. I get the following error:
Error: Could not open the scoreboard file: '/scores.ini'
An error has occured in the sound sub-system: (52) Error initializing
output device.

[RFC PATCH 0/8] virtio: Support for hibernation (S4)
Hello,
These patches are an initial attempt at supporting hibernation for
virtio drivers.
The default configuration of event_index=on doesn't work; i.e. restore
from a hibernated image only works if the devices have event_index
support turned off. I have not yet dug into this, but is most likely
due to some state not being sync'ed. This could be related to the
hack that is patch 3.

[PATCH] Switch to poll in xenconsoled's io loop.
The original implementation utilies select(). In Linux select() typically
supports up to 1024 file descriptors. This can be a problem when user tries to
boot up many guests. Switching to poll() has minimum impact on existing code
and has better scalibility.
Up to 8192 file descriptors are supported in the current implementation.

cumulative frequency plots for factors
Dear list,
I have a data frame with a number of events (factor) and the times at which they occurred (continuous variable):
event time
A 10
A 12
B 15
A 17
C 13
...
Is it possible in R to make a plot against time of the cumulative frequency of occurrence of each event? This would be, a raising line for each factor.

Dieter

how to guarantee 1/numflows bandwidth to each flow dynamically
I am looking for a simple way to guarantee to each flow
going through my traffic control point 1/numflows of
bandwidth. I thought using SFQ would do this effectively
but it appears to be quite unfair: a very high speed
download that fills the pipe easily starves smaller flows to
the point where it becomes unusable (especially if they are
at all interactive)
Because numflows is dynamic,

concurrent requests (Rook, but I think the question is more general)
This question involves Rook, but I think the answer will be general
enough that it pays to post here. At any rate, I don't know enough to
know whether this is a Rook only issue or a general R issue.
Here's what I'd like to do (and indeed, have code that should do this):
1. Start R, Rook
2. Start an analysis via a HTTP request to Rook. This analysis uses
.Call() to some compiled C

smbcontrol smbd ping also answered by nmbd and winbindd
Hello,
with samba-3.0.x an "smbcontrol smbd ping" was answered by all running
smbd processes. With samba-3.2.x it is now *also* answered by nmbd and
winbindd:
[root@cs00 ~]# smbcontrol -V
Version 3.2.5
[root@cs00 ~]# for i in `smbcontrol -t 1 winbindd ping | grep PONG | awk
'{ print $4}'` ; do pstree -p | grep $i ; done
winbindd(29908) - winbindd(29909)

IAX trunk monitoring
I have an issue where * tries to route a call over IAX to another server
even if the server is down. I have included the relevant entries from
my iax.conf, extensions.conf, and some debug output. If someone could
tell me what I have configured incorrectly, I would appreciate it.
Thanks,
Stephen
