Dovecot Master User: Access user's mailbox without owner's password
Hi, I hope you're all right. I describe below the scenario where the problem occurs. I'm trying to activate a master user [1] to be able to access all the boxes of all users by imap. I have configured the dovecot-master-users [2] file with the appropriate permissions. When I try to access, for example with roundcube, through user at mydomain.com*my_master_user at not-exist.com I see in the

Dovecot version 2.1.7 Ubuntu 12.04.3 LTS Kernel 3.2.0-35-generic x86_64 I'm not sure exactly when this started occurring, but sporatically users report issues receiving email, having email saved to "Sent," etc. Looking in dovecot.log, I see the following errors: 2013-10-16 09:53:20 imap-login: Info: Login: user=<user1>, method=PLAIN, rip=127.0.0.1, lip=127.0.0.1, mpid=27434,

Dovecot - spam training through Outlook
Greetings everyone. My dovecot mail server doesn't execute *train-spam.sh* script I set, when moving an e-mail from "Inbox" to "Junk" within Outlook. However, it does it fine when using an online webmail client a.k.a. Roundcube Webmail. Here are few lines from my maillog file showing the situation. Any idea would be much appreciated. Log output of the mentioned process:

Quick addendum: I just stumbled upon abandoned accounts receiving "password expired" notifications forever, even if they get disabled subsequently (by me). It might be helpful to include this in the script: uAC_string=$(ldbsearch --url="${LDBDB}" -b "${domainDN}" -s sub "(&(objectCategory=person)(objectClass=user)(sAMAccountName=$user))"

You might consider adding "stop;" after the fileinto, otherwise a second match might process the message again, moving it elsewhere, etc. Tom.
