Duplicate mail for forwards (dovecot+postfix+postfixadmin)
Dovecot 1.2.11, using postfixAdmin 2.3 to manage, basically using the postfixadmin schema and sql queries during install. - If I set a forward for an account to go to a remote email address, no dupes. - If I set a forward for an account to go to an email address on the same system, I get a dupe in the inbox of the second address. So if account1 at domain.com has account2 at domain.com as a

dovecot fts-solr + solr 8.7.0 upgrade: "Indexing failed: 401 Unauthorized" + "Transaction commit failed: FTS transaction commit failed: backend deinit" ?
I've built a new dovecot + fts-solr instance; I've now picked up & am running the recently released solr 8.7.0. In a test account, I've one message -- in the 'Drafts' folder. On exec of fts 'index' doveadm index -u testuser at example.com -q '*' I get a 401 unauthorized indexing failure, only for the one dir+message in 'Drafts', 2020-11-13

weird winbind problem
I'm setting up a samba server that should authenticate against a samba 3.0 +Ldap PDC server. This is the situation 1) getenet passwd and getent group are ok 2) wbinfo -t -> checking the trust secret via RPC calls succeeded 3) wbinfo -g -> lists all the groups on PDC (nice!) 4) wbinfo -u -> lists all the users on PDC (nice again!) the problem is wbinfo -a test 1: a non existing user

Accessing a user mailbox from another user
Hello, I'm looking for something maybe similar to master password but for final users and I don't know if there is already a way I could do it with dovecot. I have accounts that are used by a set of users who know their password. But I now want to remove this shared password and the users has to access to this shared account with their own password. Using shared folders is not an

Here's what I have so far: dovecot.conf: ------------ auth_master_user_separator = * auth default { passdb passwd-file { # Master users that can login as anyone else args = /etc/dovecot/dovecot.masterusers master = yes

Hi group, now after 6 hours non-stop trying to solve this issue I decided to contact the list! I actually just want to mount an samba share as guest via "mount -t cifs ...", but I alway get a "mount error 13 = Permission denied". I tried the following (and many else) mount -t cifs //172.16.0.3/ebooks /mnt/ebooks -o guest mount -t cifs //172.16.0.3/ebooks /mnt/ebooks -o

Size of Mailbox affecting the sending of mail?
Hi, I didn't know where to post this one so I'll start off with you guys and then try Postfix if I'm barking up the wrong tree! Having set up my mail server (Dovecot/Postfix), users are experiencing long delays (a couple of minutes) when sending mail from mail client such as Thunderbird - this increases with attachments. Having had a brief discussion with someone, they mentioned

SELInux conflict with Postfixadmin
postfixadmin setup.php is claiming: *Error: Smarty template compile directory templates_c is not writable.* *Please make it writable.* *If you are using SELinux or AppArmor, you might need to adjust their setup to allow write access.* This goes away with 'setenforce 0', so it is an SELinux issue. I have tried both: restorecon -Rv /usr/share/postfixadmin and chcon -R -t
