dovecot fts-solr + solr 8.7.0 upgrade: "Indexing failed: 401 Unauthorized" + "Transaction commit failed: FTS transaction commit failed: backend deinit" ?
I've built a new dovecot + fts-solr instance; I've now picked up & am running the recently released solr 8.7.0.
In a test account, I've one message -- in the 'Drafts' folder.
On exec of fts 'index'
doveadm index -u testuser at example.com -q '*'
I get a
401 unauthorized
indexing failure, only for the one dir+message in 'Drafts',

sieve-test again
I'm not sure what it is I'm doing wrong here, perhaps my 'test' mail
is not in the format expected by sieve-test.
The 'test' file is a file taken directly from a dovecot maildir - so
is in the normal format of having headers, a new line, then the body.
There is nothing exceptional about this email.
Notice how the header below is 'innocent', however it appears that

modify dovecot user/pass_queries to deliver to local aliases via dovecot submission, with postfixadmin/sqlite3 tables?
I run dovecot + postfix with postfixadmin/sqlite3
I'm set up for all/only virtual users.
All outbound mail submits via dovecot submission port.
My current dovecot pass/user db queries are

Unknown return value from SSL_accept: Success

SSL_accept failed
Hello, I'm new to dovecot. I just installed it a few days ago on
FreeBSD via the ports and got it up and running without too much
trouble. Although yesterday I turned on the SSL/TLS features and
tried to get secure connections to work.
I don't get any error messages when launching dovecot, I saw it
successfully create the SSL parameters after first enabling the
feature yet I

There are 2 WAN links, one LAN link. I am doing some iptables/routing/tc magic

in LAN.
Interesting commands are:

do

Randomly SSL Errors since upgrade to 2.2.23-1 (Enterprise Edition)
Hi,
first of all, many thanks for a great piece of software.
Today I updated one of our 2 IMAP/POP3 proxies from version 2.2.15.17-1 to 2.2.23.1-1 (both are enterprise editions).
After the update I now see randomly the following errors in the log file on my first proxy:

stat failed: Not a directory
I have recently installed dovecot on a FreeBSD mailserver running postfix.
But when I try to login with imap/pop3, I always get an error "stat failed:
Not a directory".
I guess it is something wrong with the mail format postfix uses to store the
message, but I don't seem to find the correct solution.
Here's the postfix log with the successful delivery:

Sieve: deleteheader now working with duplicate filter for implicit keep
Hello,
I have a rule to always delete a header. If the message gets fileinto'd,
the header is gone, but if it's delivered into the INBOX through
implicit keep, the header does not get deleted.
Interestingly, if I remove the "if duplicate" filter, the header does
get deleted as expected.
I'm using the latest Dovecot 2.3.11.3 / Pigeonhole 0.5.11.
Any idea why this is

I tried to keep the configuration and APIs compatible with v2.0.beta1,
but unfortunately there were a few things that really had to be changed:
1. passdbs and userdbs have now a separate "driver" setting inside them.
So for example if you had:
