Hi,
we are trying to add full text search functionality with Solr to our Doveoct setup. Our Versions:
OS: Debian 9
Tried versions:
- Dovecot 2.2.7 with Solr 3.6
- Dovecot 2.3.4 with Solr 8.2
(2.2.7 from offical Debian repository, 2.3.4 from backports)
Search is working mostly of the time perfrectly smooth. But sometimes following message appears in mail.err:

Is it possible to create a virtual folder that selects all mails with
imap Junk flag (set by pigeonhole imap4flags' setflag "Junk")?

I have recently worked on fts plugin for ElasticSearch.

clear how to select all messages marked as

Virtual folder auto creation
After switching on Virtual Plugin and configuring it as specified on
https://doc.dovecot.org/configuration_manual/virtual_plugin/
the virtual folder is created for each user.
Is it possible do not creater virtual folder automatically, only
manually, for specific users?
lda_mailbox_autocreate set to yes, but hope it's not related.

Support for MULTISEARCH
Thank you - I'm aware of the virtual folder option and do use it. My
interest is for a Windows client, EM Client, which I otherwise really
enjoy. Unfortunately, they've implemented server-side searching only via
MULTISEARCH - for reasons passing my understanding. So I was hoping to
hear Dovecot either already had support or there were plans to implement
it.

Hello,
I have large of archive mails which I access occasionally. Is it
possible to have in dovecot in user account archive folder which is
compressed to save disk space?

Fatal: Plugin sieve_plugin not found from directory

Enabling plugins returns fatal errors like the following:
Jan 16 00:28:11 norman dovecot: deliver(jman at zultron.com): Fatal:
Plugin sieve_plugin not found from directory /usr/lib64/dovecot/lda
Same errors for loading plugins in the "protocol imap" section of
dovecot.conf (tested trash_plugin), same errors for loading other

Jansson not found when compiling Samba
I am trying to compile Samba 4.9.1, on Ubuntu 18.04.1 server. However, when I try to configure, it says that jansson is not found. I have installed libjansson-dev from the repo (version 2.11-1), but still get the error.
Config.log says:
Checking for jansson
/bin/sh: 1: --cflags: not found
