Apple mail works but thunderbird unable to connect
Hi all, First I would like to Thank you all, it is such a responsive and wonderful community here. I started to debug the issue by streaming logs and figured that EHLO was being sent when I click "Re-Test" button on thunderbird, another issue I encountered I was not able to connect ports 465/993, It was not blocked by firewall cause I could see live streaming logs, I think it's

I need some help with my Dovecot and Postfix configs - I'm unable to log in on my mail server
Hello, currently I'm working on my first mailserver but I can't log in to the account I made. For now my client (Mozlla Thunderbird) detects the server config (STARTTLS, Port, ...) but it is "Unable to log in at server. Probbly wrong configuration, username or passsword". I know that I added username and password correctly so there must something else be wrong. I run

I need some help with my Dovecot and Postfix configs - I'm unable to log in on my mail server
Autocinfiguration is fine, my problem is that once everything is (auto)configurated (correctly, checked this) that the server doesn't accept my login request. STARTTLS is correct, ports are correct etc. My mail is correct, my password is correct (tried with copy paste) and also with name as username and name at domain aswell (name was also copy pasted). It tries to detect your SMTP settings (note: SMTP, i.e. for mail sending, not for receiving, which

Letsencrypt certificate for repo.dovecot.org expired May 14th..
Dear Aki, I think the renewal failed again. The SSL certificate expired Saturday, 14 July 2018. This affects (at least) the repo.dovecot.org website and debian repository. Thanks, Bernardo. Small issue with "submission host"
Hi everyone, I'm facing a small issue with the lda/lmtp "submission_host" feature in dovecot 2.0.14. When sending mail to MTA (in case of sieve filter forwarding for example), dovecot pass a RCPT TO command just after the EHLO. He's missing the MAIL FROM command. Therefore, my MTA show me a warning like this : "improper command pipelining after EHLO". How can i
