SV: Marking all emails in "Trash" as opened, and also prohibiting email clients from creating new ma
I tried with following: require ["imap4flags"]; if not hasflag :is "\\Seen" { setflag "\\Seen"; } And then this in plugins.conf: plugin { sieve_plugins = sieve_imapsieve imapsieve_mailbox1_name = Trash imapsieve_mailbox1_before = file:/etc/dovecot/sieve/trash.sieve } It works in outlook, the mail is opened (mark as read) when it goes to trash. Marking all emails in "Trash" as opened, and also prohibiting email clients from creating new mails
Someone just told me about imapsieve. Sieve rules for folders. I assume that could solve your issue. https://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/AntispamWithSieve -----Original Message----- Sent: 09 May 2020 17:32 To: dovecot at dovecot.org Subject: Marking all emails in "Trash" as opened, and also prohibiting email clients from creating new mails Dovecot version: 2.3.7.2 (3c910f64b) (pkg

Mark message as read when moved to Trash
Hi all, When I send a message to trash, without previously reading it (just with the subject is enough to say I do not want to read it), it remains as "unread". Then, clients (I am using Kmail) report there are unread message, when all of them are in Trash. The question, then is: Is there any way to automatically mark a message as read, when that message is moved to Trash? Thank you!

Thunderbird and Trash folder
Hello, I have my problems with the Trash folder in thunderbird. Most of the times (it did work, but only for a short period) Thunderbird is not considering the "Trash" folder (or in my case the "Papierkorb") as the trash folder. The symbol disappears and I am not able to delete folders. Deleted emails are disappearing at all. The usual Google solutions like maildir vs.

automaticly move expunded emails to trash Folder
Hi I try to migrate from courier to Dovecot. Is there a way to get the same behaviour of Courier-imap with dovecot, about expunged emails ? I though about using the Lazy-Expunge plugin. The problem with this plugin is the following: messages are moved and set to be deleted in the Trash Folder. I would like they weren't set to be deleted. Is there a way to mitigate the behaviour of this

Filtering mails with sieve filters
Hello good people, I have dovecot- 2.3.7.2 (Ubuntu Ubuntu 20.04.1 LTS) running fine. However, I have a hitch with mail filtering. Using SOGo as the webmail UI, I created a filter rule which resulted into the rule below: require ["fileinto"]; if allof (address :contains "from" "odhiambo") { fileinto "INBOX/Odhiambo"; } However, the test mail I sent

emails are being marked as read auto-magically
Hi, I'm having a weird issue with dovecot 2.1.7 (using the latest thunderbird client). Something, I have emails that mark themselves as read on their own. No one touches them, and they get marked as read. I try to re-mark them as unread, but a few seconds later, they get marked as read again. The same problem happens in reverse (emails marks as unread become read). Has anyone ever

Trash expire plugin
Dovecot will soon have a plugin which allows running a nightly cronjob to expunge mails from configured mailboxes which have been in there for a configurable amount of time. For example the configuration could be: plugin { # Trash 7d, Spam 30d expire = Trash 7 Spam 30 } It also supports using Dovecot's lib-dict to keep track of the mailboxes and their oldest mail's timestamp, so that

imapsieve: mailbox Trash: FLAG event
Hi all, after upgrade from Dovecot 2.2 to 2.3 I started to see that emails from Trash folder are automatically deleted after ~7 days. Email clients are not configured to automatically expunge or empty trash on log out (I see this behavior for multiple mailboxes, with different clients). With mail_debug enabled, I see this log message for every email that gets deleted from Trash: May 29 08:02:17

Filtering mails with sieve filters - SOLVED
You might consider adding "stop;" after the fileinto, otherwise a second match might process the message again, moving it elsewhere, etc. Tom. [LLVMdev] Marking implicit registers as "trashed"
I am working on some optimizations for our VLIW processor; one ALU performs 32-bit operations, while another performs 8-, 16- or 32-bit operations. Sometimes it is useful for the 32-bit ALU to perform 8- or 16-bit operations such as ADD, SUB, SHL, AND, etc. that are not dependent on the additional 24-bits, but because it is 32-bit ALU, the condition codes are updated. When this is being used to

Moving emails tagged as spam to the Junk folder
?I am running Ubuntu 16.04. I am following this guide: https://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/AntispamWithSieve. At the end when I try to compile the .sieve files, I get this error: sievec(root): Fatal: Plugin 'sieve_imapsieve' not found from directory /usr/lib/dovecot/modules/sieve.? Does anyone know about this? I have dovecot-sieve installed and I'm using Postfix and Spamassassin. --
