Help with migration to Dovecot from raw files
You could try something simple like just
for n in *; do cat $n | doveadm save -u targetuser; done
or if the IceWarp has IMAP interface, you could try
doveadm -o imapc_host=hostname -o imapc_user=username -o imapc_password=password sync -1R targetuser imapc:

Thank you. This "works" in that it renames the files for me. However,
1. the filename timestamps are all similar (ie. time of import)
2. the emails showed up in new rather than cur
3. the emails are unseen.
The seen state can

Help with migration to Dovecot from raw files
Hello list,
I recently migrated to Dovecot from a very old version of IceWarp
running on failing hardware running Windows XP. I had a lot of issues
downloading mail through imap. What I have instead are the email files
directly off the harddrive from IceWarp's mail store.
I rearranged the mail files to look like a Dovecot maildir and tried to
use these emails directly. Dovecot did not

dsync migration with preserving pop3 uidl
Hi all,
I'm trying to migrate messages from icewarp (merak) mailserver to dovecot via
dsync, IMAP migration is looking fine, but I'm unable to migrate pop3 uidls from
originating server, probably is something wrong with configuration, but I don't
know what. The only documentation i found is on the wiki:

cluster suite & gfs problem since update
I have a cluster that has been operational for some time and functioning
flawlessly until a recent yum update. The last unflawed working kernel
was 2.6.9-55.0.12.ELsmp. The current kernel is 2.6.9-67ELsmp. The
problem appears to be some type of infinite recovery loop of sorts. It
runs find for a few minutes, then the service restarts itself. What I
am seeing in /var/log/messages is:

how to start liveice with screen?
Moin,
I installed liceice as well as 'screen' at a debian maschine, both
applications are running fine. But when I try to start liveice in a 'screen'
environment then the liveice process ends without an error message:
$ /usr/bin/screen -dmS liveice /usr/bin/liveice
A prefixed 'strace -f' shows me:
[pid 5614] old_mmap(NULL, 167936, PROT_READ|PROT_WRITE,

Incorrect link in /Contribute wiki page
Hi Yagi-san,
Thank you for guiding me.
Does this wiki have a wysiwyg editor? Or the workflow is to download the
whole page, edit it, and then upload it back again?
In my Menu it shows just 'Load' and 'Save' options in the menu, even in the
WikiSandBox page.

Samba AD - Trust Relationship error.
Hello all,
I am not really new to samba but I am new to running a samba AD and AD
in general. I have a client that I will be changing over to a new server
running samba 4.6.7 and running as an AD. I did a test run on the new
server connected to the workstations and on one workstation I ran into
this error message:
"The security database on the server does not have a computer account

"user grade" IMAP stress test
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE-----
Hash: SHA1
I need some user grade windows-based IMAP stress tool.
I have a situation with a lot of "disconnect" error on the user side (outlook,
thunderbird and outlook express) but no sign of error on the Dovecot server.
Between clients and server there are a LAN of dubious performance and a ZyWALL.
I have already removed every kind of packet

speex on arm
Hi All,
I'm trying to build speex for the mini2440 board, with this toolchain: http://www.friendlyarm.net/dl.php?file=arm-linux-gcc-4.3.2.tgz
because speex is a dependency of the sip softphone 'linphone'.
The 'configure' string I'm using is this:
./configure --prefix=/usr --host=arm-linux --with-gnu-ld --disable-static --enable-fixed-point --enable-arm-asm

Where can I get a downloadable stream directory?
Hi,
I want to connect as a client. Please let me know about the listings you
mention. I?ve just asked this on another thread in the dev list:
I see a "stream directory" at icecast.org, but I don't know if it's
available to download (I think using a program to dig the info from the web
is not ethical, as least without permission). Shoutcast has a nice directory

PSP InternetRadioPlayer v1.00 flooding server
*Hello..... Lateley I have been getting a flood of logins/listeners using
the "PSP Internet Radio Player/v1:00". I have limited bandwith and have
since had to turn off or make my streams private. When I make my streams
public my server is at its max within minutes. Have tried banning the agent
but still get login attempts. I have changed ports, ip, stream name, bit
rate, etc. I put a low

samba and acl
Hello !
I am using samba 3 with acl support and when I use the "hide
unreadable" option, it only take the unix right. Even if they have read
or write access given by acls, people have to be the owner of a
directory to see it. I don't know if it's realy a bug or if i'm not
using it the right way, i simply add it to a share definition.
Thanks in advance !
