At a loss with antispan and imap_sieve
Hi, It seems I can?t google my way out of this one. I?m trying to set up spam/ham learning but getting nowhere. I tried Johannes Berg Antispam plugin, and syslog shows: Sep 20 22:22:06 proefmail imap: antispam: running mailtrain backend program /usr/lib/dovecot/retrain.sh Sep 20 22:22:06 proefmail imap: antispam: running mailtrain backend program /usr/lib/dovecot/retrain.sh Sep 20 22:22:06

Sieve and handling multiple addresses
I an trying to write a sieve action that will take mail that is addressed to a user only it is filed in a mailbox (e.g. "Direct") if it is to the email AND to any other email address, then file it in a mailbox named, e.g. "Cc". And if the mail is not addressed to the user at all, sieve does nothing with it. Message 1: to foo at example.com => Direct Message 2: to/cc foo at

lda catchall
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, I'm using dovecot lda in a qmail / vpopmail testing environnement. I would like to replace vpopmail lda with dovecot's one , because of quotas , sieve filers, indexing while delivering ... Everything is working great, except the catchall. If I want to bounce, a first line like "# bounce-no-mailbox" in the .qmail file works,

CatchAll virtual user removes spamheaders
Hi all, I am having a small problem with a catch-all user I have setup in my Postfix/Dovecot setup. I am not 100% sure this is Dovecot related, but, logic tells me it is. I have a virtual user called @reinhold.dk setup to redirect to my main account, peter at reinhold.dk. If I send a spam mail (GTUBE) to peter at reinhold.dk, the mail is marked with Amavis x-headers as it should be. If I

Secure? Samba over internet
I'd like comments (suggestions, improvements, messages that start with "you moron you forgot that. . .") on the following horrible dirty kludge to make a (nearly, with any luck) un-hackable set of shares available to specific users on the internet. On the Server, initially all packets bound for port 139 are rejected as the default policy. The server is connected to the internet full

Hi Benny and Dovecot, Thanks for the reply. Actually my question is, is it possible to verify anything now whether the email has been pulled by application/server from the "Maildir/new" or "Maildir/cur" folder in my POP3 server? at present I am not using lmtp yet. When I configured the outlook to access the one of the email box in the server, I get the email. But do we have

logging LMTP activity
Hello, I've been trying to set up Postfix + Dovecot LMTP setup. Basic idea taken from https://wiki2.dovecot.org/HowTo/PostfixDovecotLMTP, but since Postfix is on different host inet listener is used instead of unix socket. Message delivery works. Messages are delivered to correct mailboxes, if they exist. But the problem is with logging on Dovecot side; i can not get any lmtp logs at
