The Guix package fails to build because of a test error (see the last lines of the full build log: https://ci.guix.gnu.org/log/f5if2qb5rsqag3a6jy5vga1l9hm9pkj0-dovecot-2.3.9.3). 9.6p1 test suite help
Hi OpenSSH, I'm working on updating Guix's openssh package definition to the latest release. So far, I have only changed the version (and checksum) and left the build/test/install recipe the same. However, the test suite now fails. I could use some pointers to find out what exactly is going wrong with the failing test or how to fix it. I'm happy to provide more information about

IMAP error
Hi, I am trying to setup a dovecot server on my laptop to serve my emails to emacs gnus. The emails are pulled from the mail server using isync into particular directories. I am using a Guix system. The dovecot service is running. I can telnet into it with: telnet localhost 143 Trying 127.0.0.1... Connected to localhost. Escape character is '^]'. * OK [CAPABILITY IMAP4rev1 SASL-IR

Sys.which() caching path to `which`
Hello R-devel, Currently on Unix-like systems, Sys.which incorporates the absolute path to the `which` executable, obtained at the configure stage: > ## hopefully configure found [/usr]/bin/which > which <- "@WHICH@" > if (!nzchar(which)) { > warning("'which' was not found on this platform") This poses a problem for the Spack package

What I am aware of I didn?t mess with the bidmap config. But I don?t really understand what it is, and where I use it for. I am really new to samba. All I know is that I have something regarding this in my config. And that it has something to do with users and groups. Thanks a lot btw for all the help. Without it I would be stuck on things like this for weeks Philip > On 4 Sep 2020, at 18:57,

smbd fails to start after upgrade to version 4.11.6
Roy, Im still wondering what your problem might be/where its coming from. But we know it's interface/network related, only thing is Samba should not coredump. So i had a good look below to see where im missing what. And i dont see much to work with. I have 2 possible options where, where a problem might be. 1) samba start before network is online. A possible workaround is add in all

Replication problems bdc to pdc
Hello Rowland,     thank you for advice. I reconfigure both AC-DCs again with new data and send updated data. Unfortunately, the result is the same. I'm also sending a listing from samba-setup-checkup.sh.  * Linux: Raspbian, debian stretch lite  * Samba version 4.5.12-Debian  * DNS: BIND9_DLZ 9.10.x  * Installed packages: ntp ntpdate samba smbclient winbind libcups2 samba-common

nut on armhf, r-pi4b IOW
Greetings all; Does nut build on an r-pi4b? I have an r-pi4b running one of my cnc machines and the power bump performance due to the size of its psu and the fairly rapid start time of my standby generator, does not allow a full powerdown restart to take place, leaving the pi in a crashed state. I've purchased a factory refurbed cyberpower ups rated at 650 WA which I intend to figure

[PATCH 00/12] Bunch of patches for cross-compilatio + RP4
Initially out there as #965245. I strongly prefer to build ARM64 packages on non-ARM systems. Something about my main build machine having twice the cores and twice the clock speed. As such after many builds I've managed to generate a set of patches which appear to mostly function to get functioning cross-builds of Xen. These are NOT a 100% solution. Some packaging hacks were needed. In

[patch 1/2] use chacha20 from openssl (1.1.0+) when possible
On some cpu's optimized chacha implementation in openssl (1.1.0+) is notably faster (and on others it is just faster) than generic C implementation in openssh. Sadly, openssl's chacha20-poly1305 (EVP_chacha20_poly1305) uses different scheme (with padding/etc - see rfc8439) and it looks it is not possible to use in openssh. OpenSSL 1.1.1+ also exports "raw" poly1305 primitive,
