noreplicate for some users
I believe the userdb_ prefix is used when you want to provide userdb
fields in a passdb context, or in the actual passwd-file file contents
(/etc/dovecot/users).
In default_fields, you should use the non-prefixed name, i.e.
"noreplicate=y"
Use `doveadm user -u <username>` to see what userdb fields are returned
for a specific user.

Question about noreplicate flag
Dear all,
I've just setup replication between two servers. The e-mail accounts on
both servers intersect but are not the same.
In dovecot.conf (both are identical except one user /var/mail and the
other uses /srv/vmail) I have:
--<<--
userdb {
driver = passwd-file
args = username_format=%Lu /etc/dovecot/virtual_passwd
default_fields = uid=vmail gid=vmail

Bug: 'noreplicate' database extra field ingnored
The 'noreplicate' user database field described in the wiki appears to
make no difference as to whether an account gets replicated or not.
My sql user query returns a 'noreplicate' field and I can confirm that
this is getting set using 'doveadm user', however when I add a new
account with noreplicate=true it gets replicated regardless.
User query:

Dovecot replication and userdb "noreplicate".
Hello!
I finally took the time and spent two days to set up replication for my
server and now I have a question or two.
I initially set noreplicate userdb field to 1 for all but a test user,
but I could still see in the logs that all mailboxes were trying to
connect to the other server via SSH. Is that normal?

Upgrade 2.2.27 to 2.3.9.2: master(imap): net_connect_unix(imap) failed: Resource temporarily unavailable
Hi,
After upgrading Dovecot from version 2.2.27 to 2.3.9.2, we are
sporadically seeing lots of these errors in the error log on many of our
servers:
imap-login: Error: master(imap): net_connect_unix(imap) failed:
Resource temporarily unavailable -
http://wiki2.dovecot.org/SocketUnavailable
The issue is causing significant delays and/or timeouts on login.
From what I can tell, this

Icecast 2.4.3 stop play on https
Hi,
We use Icecast 2.4.3 and SSL streaming for a long time on CentOS 6 and
7.
The last time we have some problems on playing 192k mp3 on https.
The stream play 2 second and stop, on http we have not that problem. (we
restart the encoder, but same problem)
(we use a jPlayer and direct stream url in chrome)
We check on the error log, but no errors and in the access log we see:

Problems with Samba 3.4 under Opensolaris snv_111b
Hi List,
I compiled Samba 3.4 for Opensolaris because the samba SUNWsmba
shipped my SFW did not work properly.
Now I had to realize, that the Problems are still there so I beleve
that it is a common Problem with Solaris (?)
I have samba running as PDC with a Sun Directory Server as backend.
All Authentication to Unix Clients work well with DSEE but Samba seems
so have some trouble:

Yes, I realize this. That is why we are introducing the directors to the
cluster. We are also working on doing Dovecot LDA/LMTP delivery, to
improve Dovecot's ability to react to new messages. Currently we are
dropping email directly into the Maildir through other facilities, which
works -fine-.
I realize however that IDLE is most likely not working properly with

As a workaround for the titular issue, I have tried enabling the
"imap-hibernate" service on a couple of servers to reduce the number of
running imap processes.
Since ~50-60% of clients are in IDLE at any one time, this allows us to
reduce the number of running imap processes to less than half of what it
was.
After this I have yet to see the "net_connect_unix(imap)

Is this an actual problem? Most client connections are idle, so I doubt if the occasional drop is noticed at all.
Also, why a limit of 16? Have you tried, oh, 160 instead?

Replication 'noreplicate' field usage
I've set up replication as per the wiki under 2.3.3 and in my SQL user
query I am returning a 'noreplicate' field, this is a boolean and
returns true for all users at the moment. However when I do "doveadm
replicator status '*'" it lists all users in my database suggesting it
is trying to sync all users regardless of the noreplicate field.
```
Thanks for the response!
What exactly did you want to compare? `ss -tp` does not appear to show
cmdline/process title. I enabled it for one server, but will have to
wait for users to reconnect and for the issue to reappear there.
In the meantime, on another server
