About "received" header when using Dovecot proxy
Hello.
Sorry.
Since 2.3.9 was released, I installed it immediately and tried to set "lmtp_add_received_header" to "no".
But it seems different from what I wanted to do.
The following is my configuration file.
Please let me know if there are any other configuration files that need to be listed.
Is there any way to avoid adding it to the ?received? header?

Problem with fresh two nic installation on FC3
Hi,
I''m having problems with new Shorewall installation on Fedora Core 3 (had
same problem with Core 2 and upgrade did not help even iptables was
upgraded from 1.2.9 to 1.2.11). I''ve followed two nic example, but
starting Shorewall drops all connections and don''t permit any outgoing
requests, even with "all allowed" policy. Policy file is below. Current

Option to not add "Received" header ?
Hi everyone,
I use Dovecot in lmtp mode to receive mails.
I would like an option to tell Dovecot to not add a "Reveived" header on
each server (I use a director, so Director also adds this header).
Is it possible to do this ? Or could it be a future feature ?
Thank you.

Panic: file smtp-client-connection.c: line 1212 (smtp_client_connection_established): assertion failed: (!conn->connect_succeeded)
Hello Aki,
I have this problem just with 2.3.8, my self-compiled 2.3.3 works fine.
I have previously tried to update from 2.3.3 to higher versions
(possibly 2.3.5 or so), but always had this error, which is why I am
always back to 2.3.3.
Configuration is exactly the same.
Here my output from "doveconf -n":

Odd replication behaviour
Hi,
I have just built a new pair of similar machines both running CentOS 8.2 (selinux disabled) and Dovecot 2.3.8 (9df20d2db).
One machine is a VPS (host A) and one is on my home network (host B). The idea is that they are set up in a master/master config with Dovecot replication.
I seem to have this 95% working but there is one strange issue I can?t work out.
Currently B is a perfect replica

Doveadm replicator ssl issues
Hello, I have 2 Dovecot 2.3.8 servers running SSL with valid wildcard
certificates.
Email clients connect fine, https://www.immuniweb.com/ssl/ tests show
certificates are ok.
However I can't make replication work when I add ssl = yes.
Without ssl it works ok.
I added verbose_ssl in config and error log shows:
dovecot: doveadm(149.x.x.x): Error: SSL handshake failed: SSL_accept()

2.2.3a connection failure from XP to 10.3.4
Hello from a neophyte!
Is there a diagnostic programme which can be run to determine if there
are any faults in Samba 2.2.3a?
I cannot connect from Win XP to my rev/b iMac (suddenly, maybe 'upgrade'
to 10.3.4 had some effect) and the smb crashlog (shown below) has a pile
of stuff which is incomprehensible to me.
Secondly, how does one upgrade to another version of Samba and is this

That is pretty old. Chances are that this problem is already solved in a
more recent release.

Good afternoon.
Faced an incomprehensible problem in the work of Samba 4.4.5 and Samba
4.6.4 In the config I have the parameters:
Directory mask = 0770
Force directory mode = 0770
Create mask = 0770
Force create mode = 0770
On systems starting from Windows XP and above, as well as with MacOS X 10.8
and higher, everything works right. But on MacOS X 10.6 - 10.7 systems, why
