It works when i log in to imap (thunderbird for example shows my? public folders which are protected by acl_groups). Hi, I found a 9 year old thread (https://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2010-October/054407.html) concerning acl_groups in OpenLDAP. In this thread someone asked, if it is possible to provide ACLs as multi value in OpenLDAP. I know that Dovecot expects acl_groups as a comma separated list, so currently I do this with a single value. Did the code change a little bit and accepts multi values now?

From the wiki: ACL groups support works by returning a comma-separated acl_groups extra field <http://wiki2.dovecot.org/UserDatabase/ExtraFields> from userdb, which contains all the groups the user belongs to. Sorry for that! I was offline during writing my answer to your mail and so it left my outbox after the advice from Sami. The solution works well when using passwd userdbs only. I didn?t get it running in conjunction with ldap userdb. I tried to use an LDAP attribute and mapping it to userdb_acl_globals_only and another try with acl_globals_only. Both attributes were not considered by the lookup.

I've upgraded my print server to CentOS5 w/Samba 3.2.0. While it "works" we are experiencing numerous irritating issues. I'm curious if anyone else is experencing these issues. 1.)
