Case sensitivity in :addresses in sieve vacation scripts
Hi, I have recently updated from Dovecot 2.2 to 2.3. Since I have noticed that vacation responses from sieve are not working the same anymore. For example, my sieve script looks like this: vacation :days 1 :addresses ["Kippels at hhu.de","julian.kippels at hhu.de"] it used to be that I got a vacation response if I sent a mail to kippels at hhu.de and Kippels at hhu.de. Now

IP Tunneling
Hello I have /25 addressed on a box (virtual devices on eth0) and I want to tunnel some of these addresses to my home network. One address to my gateway (a.b.c.d, external IP) and one address to my internal network (192.168.0.0/24-style). I will use the tunnels for irc, smtp and surfing. What protocol and which technique is easiest and best to use? One more thing. I don''t want to set up

How do I search for "greetings of the day"
My users say that "greetings of the day" occurs in academic spam a lot. Since I don't trust my users, I opted to verify this bold claim. But how do I search for a sequence of multiple words? doveadm import -u restore at backup.invalid mdbox:/home/copymail/mdbox "" mailbox INBOX BODY "Greetings of the day" doveadm import -u restore at backup.invalid

corrupted smoothing kernel ?
I am trying to use the "kernel" function. To understand how it works I tried out some of the examples. None of them works as shown in the following: > kernel("daniell", 50) # Error in kernel("daniell", 50) : unused argument(s) (50) > kernel("daniell", 10) # Error in kernel("daniell", 10) : unused argument(s) (10) >

S4 - inheritance changed by order of setClassUnion and setAs()
Dear colleagues, there is a behaviour with S4 (virtual) classes that I find very hard to understand: Depending on the position of setAs(), the tree of inheritance changes. This is my baseline example that defines the classes "grandma", "mother", "daughter" and a virtual class "mr_x". For a new instance if "daughter", "mr_x" is betweeen

dovecot and unison
I am successfully using dovecot purely as a personal local mail store on my desktop. (There is only one account, and it's only ever accessed by local mail clients on the machine. The point is to have a common store I can use with any client; plus, I prefer dovecot's Mailbox storage to Thunderbird's mboxes.) Now I'd like if possible, to replicate this setup on my laptop and

Accessing the host server's file system from a guest OS
Is there no way in which one can access the host's filesystem from within a guest OS. Libvirt's virt-manager GUI seems to indicate that there is, by virtue of the FileSystem Passthrough option as shown below [image: Inline image 1] The scenario I typically have is a Linux Server on a ext4 file system, with a Windows 7 Guest OS running a KVM machine. No matter what combination of

HPUX: ssh hangs after shell exit
I am aware that there have been several posts related to ssh connections hanging, i have tried to read through most of them in the archives... Replication status
I remember last year we discussed Dovecot replication a bit on this list, e.g. http://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2008-May/030446.html . Has there been any development related to this, and can I help at all? The more I think about the hacks I'm employing to synchronize mail, the more I realize I want this. So hopefully I can put either some money or some time where my mouth is. --
