Hi, I can't get quota lda plugin working... Dovecot replication, no updates on message deposit
Hi, I am trying to setup dovecot replication based on: http://wiki2.dovecot.org/Replication All mailboxes share the same UNIX userid ('vmail'), and I setup ssh-key based login for this account in both directions. As LDA exim4 is configured to use dovecot deliver LDA. Here is the relevant config from exim: /usr/lib/dovecot/deliver -d $local_part -f $sender_address -a

Segfault in dovecot-lda 2.0.5
Hi, I've recently started using dovecot-lda to handle my local maildir deliveries from Exim. Unfortunately I've been experiencing the occasional failed delivery - My Exim logs were showing: Child process of virtual_dovecot_delivery transport (running command "/usr/local/libexec/dovecot/dovecot-lda -d $local_part@$domain -f $sender_address -a

Maildir filename extensions S=<size> and W=<vsize>
I'd like to add S=<size> and W=<vsize> to the filenames in my Maildir storage for newly delivered mails. But I cannot find where I can make Dovecot's LDA add those. Anybody? http://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/Maildir says: A maildir filename with those fields would look something like: 1035478339.27041_118.foo.org,S=1000,W=1030:2,S which is exactly what I want, but it

sysctl maxfiles
By default FreeBSD 7.0 shipped with the sysctls set to: kern.maxfiles: 12328 kern.maxfilesperproc: 11095 We recently bumped up against these limits in an unfortunate way and we are going to raise them. I have some questions: * why are the numbers set the way they are? They aren't round numbers, they aren't powers of 2. But they were arrived at somehow with planning and thought

Dovecot LDA errors
Hi list, I'm having an issue on a server thats been running ok for years, its running Exim 4.91 onto of FreeBSD 10.4 with Dovecot 2.3.1. Recently I've started seeing messages getting stuck in the queue for local delivery and upon checking the Exim log I see this: 2018-06-01 17:31:09.339 [48228] 1fOmxJ-000CXp-3s <a.smith at ldexgroup.co.uk>: dovecot_delivery transport output:

deliver doesn't find adress/inbox
I'm trying to make dovecot 1.2.15, deliver, openLDAP, exim and fetchmail work together on an Debian Squeeze (virtual) maschine. The connection between dovecot and LDAP seems to be working, I can logon from Thunderbird (IMAP) and my maildir is created automatically. So far so good. But when I download the mails via fetchmail, it seems that deliver cannot find the correct mailbox for the

Is any of the password schemes supported or is there a reason you chose pkcs5? 4. The keypair is created on first use, so password will be initialized to empty string going thru pkcs5. This is slightly inconvenient. > > > To avoid

exim dovecot sieve
Hello list. I have just a generic question. Exim delivers fine to dovecot-lda. My problems are the logfiles. Whenever I recieve a message Exim writes to dovecot.log as the user who recieves the mail. This forces me to have that logfile world writeable. I don't really like that. How do you guys deal with that? Here my transport: dovecot_delivery: driver = pipe # You may or may not
