Various uidlist and index errors with 1.1 on NFS
Two nights ago I took a leap and extended my testing of dovecot 1.1 by
replacing 1.0 for the approx 15 users I had on 1.0. At that time I also
for the first time tried dovecot 1.1 in a load balanced 2 server configuration
with indexes on NFS. I was hoping I did this right, using the mail_nfs params
and 1.1 so fchown etc would flush the access cache, but I am getting a number
of messages and

1.1.4 and trouble over NFS
Hello, I have some trouble with the current setup (it's a testing
environment):
2 server with Dovecot 1.1.4 from source (OS Debian testing 2.6.26)
(name: "exim" and "exim2")
1 NFS server (OS Debian testing 2.6.26)
I use NFS v.4, indexes shared over NFS. The relavant part of Dovecot
configuration:
dotlock_use_excl = yes
mail_nfs_storage = yes
mail_nfs_index = yes

problem in cr: nfs-utils-lib-1.1.5-3.el6.x86_64
I ran yum update on a CentOS 6.0 machine against the CR repository
and noticed that the nfs-utils-lib update broke my rcp.idmap settings:

nfs4 and idmapd
I'm using CentOS5.9 and mounting a remote directory via NFSv4. The nfs
server is OpenIndiana 151.a.7 (i.e. Solaris).
Users bin and daemon have each others ID on the oposite system.
On OpenIndiana:
User: bin; ID=2
User: daemon; ID=1
On CentOS:
User: bin; ID=1
User: daemon; ID=2
That means if I create a file as daemon on the client (CentOS), it gets
saved on the server as owner bin

Fscking warnings
Google tells me that these "should go away" but they don't.
Seems to happen continuously while a user is viewing email.

lustre + nfs + alphas
This is the strangest problem I have seen. I have a lustre filesystem mounted on a linux server and its being exported to various alpha systems. The alphas mount it just fine however under heavy load the NFS server stops responding, as does the lustre mount on the export server. The weird thing is that if i mount the nfs export on another nfs server and run the same benchmark (bonnie) everything

mail delivery interrupts force-resync
Hi all,
We have recently had some power failures have led to corrupt mdbox instances.
Dovecot?s fsck appears to get caught in a loop when the recipient has a large amount of mail. In the example log output below, each ?rebuilding indexes? seems to be interrupted by a new IMAP connection.
Later, when our folks realized the issue and blocked access to the mailbox, the index rebuild finished in

Log messages
Hello.
I have been on leave for several weeks and have managed to lose all emails
received since December due to a server crash.
I asked about log synch error back in March and have (repeatedly) deleted all
.imap files but the errors continue.

Multinomial Nested Logit package in R?
Dear R-Help,
I'm hoping to find a Multinomial Nested Logit package in R. It would
be great to find something analogous to "PROC MDC" in SAS:

constant Log synchronization error's
Hi,
I am seeing constant "Log synchronization error"s in my logs. See later
for an example.
This is dovecot 2.2.4, pigeonhole 0.4.1, and postfix 2.10.1 (with
mailbox_command = /usr/libexec/dovecot/deliver) on a Fedora 19 system.
I am using packages from Atrpms so there are some patches applied - ask
for details. The mailboxes have resently been moved from a i386 system.

Possible solr and indexing bug
Bug Report:
We had one of our solr server down for a while, then observed a lot of "Warning: fscking index file " actions. Version 2.2.27 with auto fsck.
A follow up investigation shows direct one to one relationship between solr error and subsequent fscking. The fscking lasts for quite a long time (for at least an hour) when the mailbox is concurrently accessed.
Thank you.

1.6.4.1 - active client evicted
Hi!
We''ve started to poke and prod at Lustre 1.6.4.1, and it seems to
mostly work (we haven''t had it OOPS on us yet like the earlier
1.6-versions did).
However, we had this weird incident where an active client (it was
copying 4GB files and running ls at the time) got evicted by the MDS
and all OST''s. After a while logs indicate that it did recover the
connection

Synchronization error in NFS
Hi there,
Not sure whether it's a bug or env setting issue.
I am running some concurrent testings under NFS.
The dovecot (version 2.0.13) are deployed in 2 servers (same setup), whose
maildir are on the file server via NFS. Here are the output of dovecot -n:
[root at MyMachine src]$dovecot -n
# 2.0.13: /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf
