Only show mails within 30 days or 60 days?
How to display emails within 30 days or 60 days in inbox, sent box, etc. For example, in the mail client tool, the user clicks the inbox button and only sees the mail within 30 days. The virtual mailbox plugin will only generate a new mailbox. Thank you??? -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL:

immediate delete of mails
When I press DEL on a mail, the file /home/tselmeci/mail/Trash increases and the deleted mail is appended to it. But it doesn't disappear from /var/spool/mail/tselmeci. Once I expunge, /home/tselmeci/mail/Trash becomes empty but the original mail is still present in /var/spool/mail/tselmeci. Maybe the SMTP server holds a write lock on the spool file thus preventing Dovecot from erasing the

mdbox import error from read-only filesystem
Dovecot version: 2.2.34 doveadm import tries to call open() on the source indexes/logs of mdbox data, but even if it should work as it is just a read-related call, it fails on read-only filesystems. The main use case for read-only filesystem is restoring from backup: the massive deduplicated backup data is exposed using FUSE. For deduplication to work efficiently, we have to backup the whole

Dovecot Submission Proxy Auth
Hi, Just found out that Postfix does not implement/support the AUTH=sender parameter. So, back to Dovecot, can we use variables in the submission_relay_user = submission_relay_password = then Dovecot will forward the username and password information of the current user to the Postfix submission service for authentication? Hi all, I am reading a huge data set(12M rows) that contains family information, Offspring, Parent1 and Parent2 Parent1 and parent2 should be in the first column as an offspring before their offspring information. Their parent information (parent1 and parent2) should be set to zero, if unknown. Also the first column should be unique. Here is my sample data set and desired output. fam

Dovecot director: show user breakdown by director?
Hi, We have recently started using the director in some tests. We are using the static passdb setup (proxy=y nopassword=y) for now, where authentication is done on the downstream IMAP servers. "dovecot director status" shows a breakdown of proxied connections per backend, but there does not seem to be a similar breakdown of user connections per director. The output of

How workstation get authenticated in DC
Dear Friends, I use LDAP as the samba backend passwd in RHEL. After adding some index to LDAP, some workstation lost the trust relationship with the domain controller. The solution is to re-join the workstation to the domain, but I do not know why workstation lost the trust relationship. When I re-join the workstation to domain, I find that the workstation LDAP entry change/add the
