'director_tag' field returned from passdb lookup results in 'unknown passdb extra field'
Hello all, I'm working with director in tandem with 'director_tags' to group some backend hosts. I've assigned the groups to the hosts by appending a '@' character after the IP address of a backend host under director_mail_servers: ... director_mail_servers = 192.168.0.1 at foo 192.168.0.2 at bar 192.168.0.3 at foobar ... I can confirm that the backend hosts

dovecot/lmtp dumps core when proxying to multiple recipients via protocol=smtp
Hello, when trying to set up a migration scenario from my old mailbox-servers to my new dovecot-cluster, I get a coredump from dovecot/lmtp when proxying mail-delivery to more than one recipient on the old mailbox-server. My setup: 3 director-hosts (Debian stretch) are proxying to a pair of replicator-hosts and during migration also to the old mailbox-server. For migration the not-migrated

Multiple scripts with postlogin
Hello, I'm having trouble understanding how to execute separate scripts with postlogin. According to the documentation, it should be as simple as: You can run multiple post-login scripts by just giving multiple scripts as parameters to|script-login|, for example: executable = script-login rawlog /usr/local/bin/postlogin.sh /usr/local/bin/postlogin2.sh Given this information, I supplied two

PJSIP call Delay DNS/Realtime
Hello all, I'm migrating a box from PJSIP with normal Flatfiles to ODBC/Realtime, Also 16.0.1 to 16.3.0. After adding a few peers to the new RT box, I noticed a delay in call processing. All I had done thus far is added a few endpoints for upstream carriers, And one downstream for the legacy PBX it was replacing. After a bit of troubleshooting I found the issue to be related to having the

OT: Recommendations for a virtual storage server
Hi all, I need to install a virtual machine acting as a virtual storage server under CentOS 5.x (using kvm, xen, virtualbox or vmware). This virtual storage machine needs to server storage to another ESXi server and at the same time to the host where is installed. This is due to the limitations of hardware I have available. Both hosts needs to server several machines. It is very

distributed storage/home-made cloud recommendations
Hello listmates, This is not specifically CentOS-related - though I will probably execute this design on CentOS if I decide to do so. It will certainly be some kind of Linux. At any rate, here's my situation. I would like to build a fairly large storage solution (let us say, 100 TB). I want this solution to be distributed and redundant. I want to be able to lose part of the machines involved

Termination Provider
I've been looking for a good iax or sip <==> ptsn provider. Someone with very low cost usa calling and can offer incoming ptsn connections in most markets. The only decent providers I could find were iconnecthere and nufone. Has anyone found someone that really stood out? hostname not being picked up by DHCP
Hi - I am using the CentOS v5 desktop installation and am setting up a new lab for our engineering department. Initially I computers got their IP addresses and computer names from the DHCP process and the computer were getting the info from the dynamic pool. These name would be d-23-76.mnsu.edu, where the d stood for dynamic and 23-76 refered the IP address of xx.xx.23.76. The computer

RE: Greetings file played upon mount
I'm using icecast2 and ices2, and was wondering if it is possible to have a "greetings" file to be played (eg. Station ID) prior to listening to audio stream from playlist (where-ever position it is playing from).... I checked conf examples, but didn't see anything that stood out... [Issue] Does the *-pbx cmd page honour the absolute timeout value?
I had an incident, whereby the caller didn't either hang-up their SIP phone properly or the disconnect/hang-up information didn't properly find their way back to the Asterisk-PBX and it left the company phone system in intercom mode with about 90 phones overnight (624mins, CPU utilisation was running much higher than normal until i used the meetme kick <channel> all

Polycom 330 + Asterisk, phone locks up. * key will do it
Hello all, We have an Asterisk server that has worked without issue for a while. Before, only Sipura and Polycom 500 series phones were used. Recently, we've added a few POE switches and 20 or so Polycom 330's. The 330's seem to lock up often. One easy way to do this is by hitting the * key. I looked thru the XML files for dialplan and what not, nothing stood out.

Server Key [Re-] Generation after Install?
Hi All, I recently stood up a Linux server with Samba and wanted to re-generate any keys the Samba server might be using. I used an Entropy Key (http://www.entropykey.co.uk/), and I believe the PRNG is in good working order now. Could anyone point out what I should do to re-generate any keys required by the Samba server. (Similar to ssh-keygen for OpenSSH server keys). Jeff

I'm trying to join a Windows 7 Enterprise Edition client to the domain. Windows responds with: Error while attempting to join the domain "MYDOMAIN": Fails when trying to resolve

SWAT features
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 Hi, all. I've been working on SWAT in trunk for the last few weeks. My work started as nothing more than a cosmetic redesign, trying to modernize SWAT and offer a clean, sophisticated interface. As I've gotten deeper into this, it seems to me that SWAT could use some improvements to its overall design -- not just aesthetically, but
