manage/sieve and mysql: Storage does not support write access
Hi there,
i want to set up sieve to store the scripts in the mysql database.
through mysql logging i can see that the incoming mail triggers a search

Problems with gnugk, asterisk, and ooh323
Greetings to All,
I hope someone has already gotten this working. I spent all day today trying
to get ooh323 and gnugk to run on the same box. After a lot of tweaking to
get everything compiled, I got both up and running.
I can make calls IAX to H323, but cannot make calls in the reverse
direction. I have tried many different configs on the GK, but always come up
with the same error. It appears

GRQ / RRQ
All - NEED HELP BADLY..
Using Asterisk with H323 Channels..
Everything is installed but we cannot register w/ Lucent gatekeeper.
We ran ethereal and found that it was making GRQ (Gatekeeper discovery
requests)..
We had provided the name of the Gatekeeper (it's IP) and cannot determine
why
it's trying to do a GRQ. We want it to go straight into RRQ or ARQ and skip

Reading multiple files
Hi,
I have 35 data files for reading. I would like get a program for
performing reading of 35 files at once.
All are of the type: Dados1.raw, Dados2.raw and so on.
If the files have the same number of columns, I can read with the
following commands:
rm(list=ls())
filenames = list.files(path="~/Silvano/Arq", pattern="Dados+.*raw")
names = substr(filenames, 1, 7)

Pcloud and Rclone: NUL added to beginning of each file
Hello,
I'm experiencing a really strange behaviour with Samba that I can't easily
debug.
I have a pCloud account mounted using rCloud (Fuse file system) with the
following command:
rclone mount --allow-other --umask 0007 pcloud:/ /media/alerinaldi/pcloud
The mounted directory is then shared with Samba in read/write.
It all seemed to work like a charm, except for a really strange

Segmentation fault with chan_oh323
Hi,
I'm trying to interconnect sip and h323 endpoints using asterisk
and asterisk crashes with segmentation fault whenever h323
connection needs to be established. It registers with gatekeeper ok though.
Here are the symptoms.
If the call initiated by SIP device, asterisk replies to it "Trying" and then
silently crashes (it launched as asterisk -vvvvcd).
In debug log I can see the

Matrix heatmap
I would like to organize my data as follows:
I have a table that contains various data, and the numbers represent a level
of similarity between these data,
eg RF00013 has 100% similarity with the data RF00014.
I would leave my table as a heatmap where darker colors represent higher
similarity, and the lighter colors represent less level of similarity.
I'm using version 2.11 of R.

how do you come to that conclusion and even if some malware acts that
way what makes you sure you can rely on that? IMHO it would only be so
when the developer of the ransomware is a fool!

Asterisk + GnuGK :::: Unreachable Destination.
Hello again.
I'm stll struggling trying to terminate calls from SIP through Asterisk
and throught my H323 gateways...
Basically the call is accepted by GnuGK but then dropped with
*reason = unreachableDestination <<null>>*
I did a *debug trc 10* on GnuGK and looked at the sessions... one from
X-Lite through Asterisk... and one from OpenPhone... The one from
OpenPhone works

using pam_winbind to authenticate PPP?
I'm trying to set up a Linux-based dialin server on our company network.
I'd like to have PPP authenticate using winbindd, if possible. I feel like
I've almost gotten it to work, but I can't quite get there. Files:
/etc/pam.d/ppp:
#%PAM-1.0
auth required pam_nologin.so
auth sufficient /lib/security/pam_winbind.so

Ransomware?
I'm not aware of the last, but in previous versions, ransomware encrypt all
files and after this he delete original files. If you have a trash/recycle
configured, you can recover these files.

Ransomware?
I had to deal with ransomware at the end of April. One of the PCs on my
customer's network was infected by opening a realistic looking email
apparently from a genuine supplier to the company and personally addressed.
The infection occurred on Wednesday, but encryption of the server only took
place late on Friday afternoon, presumably having obtained encryption keys
from the criminals. The

ransomware etc
Hi all,
Just out of curiosity: is there anything we can do, on the samba side,
to counter the recent ransomware attacks? (or limit the damage done)
I'm thinking like: limit the number of files per second a client
(workstation) is allowed to edit, or some other smart tricks..?
It would be nice if samba could be an extra layer of defense.
Something perhaps a vfs module could help with..?

Smbpasswd without prompt?
Hello again! :-)
Mine he doubts he is with relation to smbpasswd, would like to add to an
user and a password standard from one script (*in botton), but I did not
obtain to eliminate prompt requesting the new password and password
verification, like make in useradd.
This is possible? I use Red Hat 8.0 box with a Samba 3.0 Alpha running a
PDC.
Me he seems that alone it functions compiling with

Autocomplete for phrases
Hi all.
We are trying to use Xapian to index the titles of around ten million
documents (music catalogue) and then do auto-complete style search on
this index. After poking around we can't quite get the combination of
QueryParser flags and search query that will give back the results we
want. The closest we have can take a very long time (because it is
searching for, and building a list of,
