Issue running Dovecot in Docker Container
Aki, This image doesn't have a director service, just the dovecot is
running.
Marc, I'm running the docker container in a privileged mode and it doesn't
seem to have any issues reaching out to the outside network. I will try
running with default config and see what fails.

Docker + firewalld
Hello,
I am using Centos7 + Docker CE
(docker-ce-18.03.1.ce-1.el7.centos.x86_64), in the following setup
1) On interface br-ee1ac3f6bbaf I have network 172.16.26/24
2) Network from (1) is routed via the IP address of eth0 of the CentOS
machine
3) Access to machines in network (1) is direct, without port forwarding
I want to be able to reach other machines in other subnet from the IP
address

Issue running Dovecot in Docker Container
I'm not using internal logging. I'm running the docker with the logging to
the host.
I have used the same options you have specified.
The problem is that the below processes are not running inside docker
container whereas the standalone dovecot is running these processes(meaning
without container)

dovecot-Director/lmtp

Docker container isolation not working in CentOS 7
Hi,
I've decided to use these summer holidays to wrap my head around Docker and its
quirks. Spent the last couple weeks working through a Udemy tutorial and a
thick book about Docker, and I have Docker CE installed on two machines:
* my workstation running OpenSUSE Leap 15.1
* a public sandbox server running CentOS 7
I'm currently fiddling with custom networks and container

Docker build issue
Count me as a docker newbie building a debian python and R mytools
container. My first post. This was working a couple of weeks ago. My last
successful build was a R 4.01 release when the R:base docker hub project
used to list a number of base images and I used sections of a posted docker
file in that area. Then the install directions at Cran:R listed buster:4.01
instructions that I also added to

Issue running Dovecot in Docker Container
If you are running your container as root. You will not have the issues
I encountered. Dovecot is dropping to the 'dovecot' and 'dovenull'(?)
when needed, this is fine.
PS. I would not recommend using internal logging, use something like
this to log to the host or remote syslog.
