Very HUGE binaries!?
Hi! I've been compiling Samba 3.0.x on a Solaris 2.6 server using GCC 3.4.1 without any problem until recently... The problem started with 3.0.12 version, and reproduced in 3.0.13. Doing "configure" and then "make" produces with these two versions VERY HUGE binaries! I'm talking about more than 50 Megabytes binaries in some cases... With 3.0.11 and before I had much

Problems with installation
Hi, I am new with Samba, so excuse my primitive questions. I just started installing Samba on an SGI origin unsing IRIX 6.4. with windows NT workstations. I was following the UNIX_INSTALL.txt file and I got blocked and step 4 where I should test my "smb.conf" file with the executable "testparm". After I installed Samba by first doing make, then make install... I took the

[LLVMdev] Error in building Gold on FreeBSD
Dear Aditya, Regarding the error, it looks like binutils is trying to build its documentation. For your project, this is a step that you can skip. You can try using "make -k" to skip over errors and proceed to the "make install" step. That might work. As an aside, you should include the error as a plain text attachment instead of taking a graphic screenshot. The error

Capistrano deployment in load balancer with sticky session
Hi, I used to have a couple of applications running on a single server. Now they have been migrated in two server, load balanced using sticky sessions. They told me that files in the first server will be replicated during the night to the secondary. I still have my old Capistrano recipe to be updated. I thought I can create two different environments, one for the first server, one for the second
