Possible RENAME bug
Hello, I'm having some trouble working on a webapp managing the imap tree on Dovecot.
The same doesn't happen on other imap servers (e.g. Cyrus).
Looks like if I receive shared folders from another user, and try to rename a folder in it, the rename command returns "ok", then if you list the new folder name, it isn't there.
Looks like you've lost all the original folder

Sieve editheader should support adding Received and Auto-Submitted headers
In order to simplify auto-response suppression and other filtering, I want to synthesise an Auto-Submitted header on notification mails that should have them but do not.
In a sieve file I add the following:
if anyof ( header :contains ["From","Sender"] ?info at example.com" ) {
if header :contains "Subject" [" just joined "," just left

Yes, I'm talking exactly about virtual_plugin. While it's absolutely
clear how to select all messages marked as

password expire warning for dovecot users in IMAP/POP login
Alec-san,
Thanks for your comment.
Please lemme make sure one more thing.

To make it happen, no need to add any other configurations on LDAP end
once possword policy is correctly set?

SELECTing a mailbox has nothing to do with FETCHing messages, so above
does not make much sense.
I don't know dovecot's code, but I

Two important new Pigeonhole v0.3 features
Hello Dovecot users,
Pigeonhole v0.3 for Dovecot v2.1 has two new features I would like you
to play with before I make a first release:
1) The new Sieve editheader extension
(http://tools.ietf.org/html/rfc5293). This allows modifying the headers
of the message before delivery. This is actually the first implemented
extension that can modify the message itself in any way. This feature

mail_log proposal: recipient
As Timo seems to be on a committing spree; I'd like to propose that in
the mail_log_fields the recipient would be available.
Like probably many dovecot users, my MUAs save to Sent; so when grepping
the log to learn etc. that would just be useful
Kind regards

Emails with sender MISSING_MAILBOX@missing_domain
Hello,
we are working in the migration from courier-imap to dovecot

Some emails that send a internal application show as sender
"MISSING_MAILBOX at missing_domain", i use like email client Horde using
dovecot like server. But if i open that email with Horde and courier-imap i
can see the correct email sender.
I think that the email of the sender is no correct

Sieve question
Is it possible to use redirect in a sieve to redirect to multiple addresses?
if header :contains ?from? ?test at example.com? {
redirect ?user1 at example.com,user2 at example.com?;
}
I thought this would work, But I am seeing a ?redirect address is invalid: not a single addres [sic] (found ?,?).

password expire warning for dovecot users in IMAP/POP login
Aki-san,
Thanks for your feedback.
Whatever ways will do. For instance, in a thunderbird mail client, a
pop-up message or notification email telling client that the password
will be expired in XX days, something like this, would be nice.
Thanks,
Masaharu Kawada

forwarding emails using sieve
I know this is a tad tangential to dovecot, but maybe someone has some
pointers for me. I'm trying to forward emails using the sieve filtering
and redirect doesn't do it because it doesn't wrap the message in a new
email, instead, it seems to just change the envelope From (and To). This
causes the outbound relay to reject the message for security/spam
reasons (forged From). It

Email hosting provider
Hello,
Sorry if I am off topic a little.
I am looking for an email host provider that supports dovecot, sieve and
manage sieve. Ideally with the roundcube webmail and managesieve plugin
Better if it is in Europe or switzerland. I don't mind paying a little.
Thanks,
Andr?.
