How to create sent items, drafts and so on
Hi, Yassine,
Yes, you are right that these folders are created by MUA which is Outlook
2013. I can see "Inbox, sent items, drafts, deleted" box in the mail
client.
This is OK. However, I only can take backup "inbox" mail of dovecot side.
I mean, the backup can be taken from /Maildir/cur directory.
I would like to take backup from "Sent, Draft" boxes which are

Forgot to mention, you can also use 'auto=subscribe' to create & subscribe to the folders automatically.

How to create sent items, drafts and so on
Koshiro,
---
Now, I changed Outlook setting of imap and I can see Draft, Trash, Sent and Sent Messages folders and I can see the mail files in there. However, I don't see mail files in the "cur or new" folder where is under .Sent Messages folder.
---
Maybe Outlook isn't going to upload all old pre-existing Sent (etc) messages to server just from your setting the right server

Hi, Aki and Kostya,
Thank you for your feedback. Well, I have set "auto = subscribe" in the

see Draft, Trash, Sent and Sent Messages folders and I can see the mail
files in there. However, I don't see mail files in the "cur or new"
folder where is under .Sent Messages folder.

You can also tell dovecot to create the folders:
namespace {
inbox = yes
mailbox Sent {
auto=create
}
mailbox Trash {
auto=create
}
mailbox Drafts {
auto=create
}
...
}

How to create sent items, drafts and so on
Hi, K,
Thanks for your feedback again! BTW, I tried to copy mail file from sent
item folder which is default folder of Outlook 2013 to "Sent Messages"
folder of Dovecot. I can see the mail files in this folder, but I don't
see them under .Sent Messages folder like "new", "cur" and "tmp" folders.
You have any idea where the mail files are copied??

My postfix configuration is quite complex with a lot of special cases
and rules. However I'd like to make an anti-spam configuration as simple
and lightweight as possible (KISS).

sieve vacation to an alias group
I am curious to know how did you define the filter on an alias in the
first place ? is it a filter defined globaly in dovecot ? I don't see
how it can be defined in any individual mailbox. Can you show the
dovecot/sieve configuration to achieve this ?
Yassine.

Unable to set quota-fs plugin
Hi there,
Well.. I didn't find a way to strace imap. If I well understood, the faulty IMAP is launched by dovecot from or after a succesfull imap-login process. I have executed manually '/usr/libexec/dovecot/imap -u eric' and typed getquotaroot "INBOX" which didn't reproduce the error seen in the dovecot logs and reported the correct quota.
Any idea how to find the imap

Unable to set quota-fs plugin [fixed]
The issue was in the systemd service file. The option PrivateDevices was setted. It prevents the service to have access to physical devices. I removed this option and from there, quota is reported without errors.
Thanks for your support
