Dovecot stops logging of imap logins after logrotation
Hi list, on my Debian box there is a logrotation cron job that will gzip existing /var/log/mail.log file and create a new mail.log. It seems that after running logrotation dovecot stops logging successful POP or IMAP logins to /var/log/mail.log (nevertheless, it still works to login with POP or SMTP). This is bad because pop-before-smtp mechanisms also stop working. I have deactivated

Hi, I'm solve a problem where I want to select every 3rd row from a matrix. I do this for all rows in a loop. This gives me "i" matrices with different number of rows I want to stack these matrices in an array and fill the blanks with zero. Does anyone have any suggestions on how to go about this? So i want to go from [,1] [,2] [,3] [1,] 1 1 1 [2,] 2 2

Question on list objects
Hi, I have 2 questions on list object:   1. Suppose I have a matrix like: dat <- matrix(1:9,3)   Now I want to replicate this entire matrix 3 times and put entire result in a list object. Means, if "res" is the resulting list then I should have:   res[[1]]=dat, res[[2]]=dat, res[[3]]=dat   How can I do that in the easilest manner?   2. Suppose I have 2 list objects: list1 <- list2

number of ticks in a persp() plot
Hi, I am trying to specify four ticks (at 0,1,2,3 for the y axis) in a persp plot but the defaults overrule my specification and I obtain seven of them. Is it possible to gain full control over them in such a plot? Here is my code: matlines=matrix(c(1:7,3:9,3:9,2:8),nrow=7,ncol=4)

After logrotation Dovecot still writes to old log file
>From the manpage: SIGNALS Dovecot handles the following signals as described: USR1 Force dovecot to reopen all configured log files (log_path, info_log_path and debug_log_path). So, you need to add kill -s USR1 `cat /var/run/dovecot/master.pod` (or wherever your distribution puts the PID for dovecot) in your log-rotate file, to tell Dovecot to use the new log

does 2.0.6 fix kill -HUP logrotation?
2.0.5 (on linux) has a small annoyance in that, when the log files get rotated, kill -HUP won't point the daemons to the new log files. They keeps logging to the old ones until they are stopped/started. Does 2.0.6 fix this?

After logrotation Dovecot still writes to old log file
Thanks man You suggesting the same as https://wiki2.dovecot.org/Logging says? postrotate kill -s 0 `cat /var/run/dovecot/master.pid` || kill -s USR1 `cat /var/run/dovecot/master.pid` endscript Well, I already tried that and didn't work. Hence my guess that it's something else. On 15/06/18 13:19, Stephen Satchell wrote: > From the manpage: > SIGNALS > Dovecot

Testing a channel's status
Hello, I'd like to be able to see if a channel is use and handle the call differently if it is. The best I can find is the command ChanIsAvail(). The problem is, I have an snom200 phone which does call waiting, so even if it is engaged in a call, a second channel is still available on it. I would like to be able to differentiate between these two cases: no calls engages, or calls
