I am curious to know how did you define the filter on an alias in the first place ? is it a filter defined globaly in dovecot ? I don't see how it can be defined in any individual mailbox. Hi Yassine, Thanks for the effort, unfortunately, we cannot turn it into an actual mailbox, this is a long story that I don't want to include here. but it would not be a valid option in our environment. Because its not actually a vacation, we are using it as an auto response feature. Its a support group that should auto respond to the customer automatically for the first time. If there is another method to achieve this, then we are more than happy to change our setup.
