Testing COI
Hi, I am playing around with the COI plugin and try to get things working. I followed the Dovecot docs and also got the source from Github (dovecot/coi). I have compiled and installed coi successfully. IMAP seems to be fine, but LMTP has some errors in the logs, so I removed imap_coi for the moment: Apr 23 17:05:16 mx dovecot: lmtp(10752): Fatal: Couldn't load required plugin

Submission and TLS client certificate
Hi, is there some configuration parameter in Dovecot, which sends a TLS client certificate to the SMTP server? I would need this to have XCLIENT enabled and TLS with Postfix. This way I could permit sending based on the certificates fingerprint. Thanks in advance Christian Von unterwegs aus gesendet -- R??ner-Network-Solutions Karl-Br?ger-Str. 10, 36304 Alsfeld Fax: +49 6631 78823409, Mobil:

Re-to-archived-thread: Dict issue with PostgreSQL for last_login plugin (duplicate key)
Hi, I have tried to implement last_login with PostgreSQL and I found an old thread from June 2019. I have found a simple solution that I want to share with you: I followed the instructions on how to set up a last_login on the official documentation. Therefor I creates a very simple table having userid and last_login fields. Added plugin and dict information. I received the duplicate key errors

Directory hashing
Hi, I struggle with directory hashing. I want something like this: /srv/mail/c/cf37a8dff5e360927ba10ab2 The final folder is simpel, as it is: %{sha256;truncate=96:user} But how do I get a first level from sha256? Unfortunately, the truncate option aligns only full 8bit and does not divide into low and high nibbles. How can I express this for sha256? in MD5 this would be %1Mu Many thanks in

Hi! I have some trouble with userdb, ldap an extrafields for acl_groups. There is a script in python, which fetches the groups and sets the environment-variable ACL_GROUPS to this groups. It works when i log in to imap (thunderbird for example shows my? public folders which are protected by acl_groups). But when it try doveadm mailbox list -u user.name the mailboxes are not listed and with

OT: z-Push
Hi, just a short question: I have installed and configured z-Push to use BackendIMAP. On my iPhone I have created an account and I can see my mails. Also sending works. So far so good. Now the question: When I create a new folder i.e. Test under the root (/), then I get an error. And after resyncing the folder has been created not under /, but under /0/Test. Also I can not remove that folder

LDAP acl_groups - can multivalue LDAP be used
Hi, Is there some kind of way to get acl_groups out of LDAP without having to maintain an entry with a list of groups 'a,b,c' and so on? Our groups have a list of 'member' attributes with CNs pointing at users. Ideally there would be a way to look this up directly. Alternately I could perhaps use an OpenLDAP overlay to show 'group' attributes for each user's ldap

LMTP Post login script for acl_groups
Hi, I use a post login script for imap, to fetch acl groups from LDAP. Because Dovecot can only deal with a single value, which must be a comma seperated list of groups, I decided to use a post login script do deal with multi values in LDAP: This looks like this in LDAP: rnsMSACLGroup: admin rnsMSACLGroup: automx rnsMSACLGroup: amavis rnsMSACLGroup: postfix rnsMSACLGroup: dovecot rnsMSACLGroup:

acl_groups from LDAP issue
Well, you don't have postlogin scripts when running doveadm. Those are executed by *-login and usually execute the actual protocol handler. Try env ACL_GROUPS=whatever doveadm mailbox list -u test.user Aki > On 04 February 2019 at 14:39 Jakobus Sch?rz <wertstoffe at nurfuerspam.de> wrote: > > > Hi! > > I have some trouble with userdb, ldap an extrafields for

question on autch cache parameters
Hi list, I have a question on auth caching in 2.2.18. I am using acl_groups for a master user, appended in a static userdb file # snip ############################### master at uma:{SHA}XXXX=::::::userdb_acl_groups=umareadmaster allow_nets=127.0.0.1 # snap ############################### and use this group in a global ACL file. I discovered this only works on first NOT-cached login
