BUG mailboxaliases, does not take into account namespaces
Does not honour namespaces. Should at least get the namespace location
and link to that location and not just created a folder and link to it
in the main/top? Namespace.

Plugins/MailboxAlias configuration not working when not successive
This is not working because the numbering is not successive. This whole
configuration implementation is of course nothing to be proud of.

virtual mailbox segfault
Hello,
I have a segfault problem, and I can not resolve myself.
The details below (stack trace, config....). Maybe important to reproduce, everithing working well until I connect with SoGo ActiveSync (SoGo web, and other IMAP clients are working well). So maybe the SoGo send something magical command if the user client use the ActiveSyn... (the IMAP debug attached too)
Thanks, Balazs Toth

Acl sql dict error, dict crashes
Hi,
I configured shared mailboxes and get an error when i use SQL as the
acl_shared_dict. It works when i use a file instead. With SQL as the
shared_dict, dict crashes.
I have enabled sql query logs on the mariadb server, the table

empty tables.
The dovecot-acl files are created in the mailbox when i add an acl with

Restored mail folders conflict with renamed original ones
Hello,
We are running Dovecot 2.3.18 (together with Postfix) on CentOS 7. It
uses a Maildir structure.
We have a user who has organized his mailbox as shows up at the end of
this mail. The user had forgotten that he had renamed his "Grants Active
\ European" (.Grants Active.European) folder to "Grants Active \
International" (.Grants Active.International), he thought that

Exchange 2007 and Voicemail with Imap Storage
Hey has anyone gotten Exchange 2007 working with Imap Storage? I know
that Exchange 2007 didn't support the usual delegated Imap access
until Rollup 4, but it should work now right? I have it working fine
with Exchange 2003. When I do DomainName\Username\mailboxalias, I get
authentication failures on Exchange 2007 with a username of "Username
\mailboxalias". If I try the

Samba4 and file permissions
Hello
I configured a samba 4.3.1 service on a Centos 6.5 32 bit system and installed it in the /home/samba/samba-4.3.1 directory (I know this is not a good place but it was the only partition with enough free space).
The samba is running as an Active Directory Domain Controller with rfc2307 enabled and embedded DNS server.

Signal 11 (cause and workaround found)
I encountered an bug in samba 2.0.7.
With the config option "logon home = \\%N\%U\profile" in smb.conf and

I had some users for which i forgot to enter the accompanying share in
smb.conf. When such a user logged in or logged off, smbd paniced with signal

Odd Samba/btrfs AD member server problem

Running samba-4.1.14-3.3.x86_64.
Samba is configured to have the server act as a member server in a
Windows Activedirectory domain.
wbinfo -u and getent passwd work fine. getent passwd shows local and
domain users.
However, setfacl -n -R -m u:userX:rwx /testpath fails if userX is a
domain user, but succeeds if userX is a local user. Using different

Renaming user account / mailbox
Hello,
I am running dovecot-2.0.13-1_128.el5 x86_64 RPM on CentOS 5.7.
All accounts are virtual, hosted on LDAP Server. We are using Maildir
mailboxes.
The question: What is the process to rename an existing account/mailbox?
I would like to rename userx with email: userx at example.com to
ux at example.com with a mailbox of ux (currently: userx)
Of course the idea is that new mail will

now there is another new installed debian server (Wheezy) which should replace the old one.

Recieving e-mail is not updating quota
Hello again.
When I send e-mail locally from userX at mydomain to userY at mydomain the
quota in userY at mydomain isn't updated with the new message, but the
message arrives fine. It's not a userX problem, because it's equal if
it's userY sending userX.
When I save an message, the quota is updated. Or when the userX sends
the e-mail, his quota is updated too. The problem is that

Migrating mailboxes
Hello everyone and Happy 2013!
I have a situation -- the first ever I have come across -- which I don't
understand.
A friend was/is running Postfix and Dovecot - with default configs -
nothing was ever changed :-)
[root at mail home]# dovecot --version
0.99.11
Anyway, he had a problem with a user mailbox which I wasn't able to
diagnose and fix easily. maillog showed:

Samba 4 AD and Samba 3.6 Fileserver GID Problem
Hi all,
I am preparing a migration from openLDAP to Samba 4 AD
I am trying to get a Samba 3.6 fileserver (for different reasons it has
to be samba 3.6) with ad backend to work with a Samba 4 AD.
Almost everything is working. The only problem is that the fileserver
does not map the users gidNumber correctly.
Example:
userx has the uid 1229 and the gid 1040
If I use the "id"
