dovecot: imap Error: read : Broken pipe
I forgot to mention that if I transfer the mail to my Gmail or Outlook address I can download the attachments without any problem. More over I've completely removed the firewall server from the equation, I plugged the adsl line directly into the mail server and the problem is still there, so my guess is that the firewall isn't the problem here. I'll do the pcaps for Aki Thanks

Recoding a variable
Hi All, I'm relatively new to R. I have a variable, "internet use," which ranges from "Almost everyday, "Several times a week," "Several times a month," "Seldom," "Never," and "Don't know." I want to recode this data into a new variable, say "use.internet," such that I have a dichotomous variable indicating

mysql errors
Since updating * via CVS earlier this week, I've been having problems with cdr_mysql. Prior to that time my queries and cdr all worked fine. Now, even though my queries still work, I get the messages similar to this: ERROR[1211374384]: cdr_addon_mysql.c:203 mysql_log: Failed to insert into databas -- Hungup 'Zap/74-1' Anyone have any suggestions what went wrong?

authentication with usernames?
Hi I'm glad to see that pxelinux now has support for password authentication ;) Is it possible to extend that feature to use a username/password combination? Something like the menu.c32 loading a file that has uid/pw mappings and using them.. People (well, admins) tend to keep quiet about their own passwords better than a common password, so the feature would help here ;) (having a

Data corruption check
Hi I was wondering what happens if a file that is regularly synched but seldom changes gets corrupted in the copy. As it seldom (or never) changes the mod time will always be the same. But if the content changes (bit flip, bad HD...) will rsync get this and synch it again? Would I need the -c (crc) flag for this to work? That of course slows things down quite a bit. Is this the only way to

The previous dmesg was captured during about 10 hr day. Stack traces were cumulated at the end one by one ( about 6-9 similar entries). Now i rebooted the box. Started Virt-Manager and F13 guest . Re: [GIT PULL] devel/pat + devel/kms.fixes-0.5 on RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650] Stack trace
Just surfing Net for 2-3 hr concerning "dracut" on Fedora 13. Several "warnings"  at the end of dmesg log. Seems like reaction on some system events scheduled to run on regular basis, but not user''s activity. Dovecot very slow on a mailbox with > 700 IMAP Folders
Hello, I am using Dovecot 1.2.9 on a 32bit on Ubuntu 10.04.2 LTS. We got one user who uses folders in an "exessive" way. He has got 704 subscribed folders. That means about nearly 3000 folders on the filesystem. Since ~ a week the user couldn't work because of timeouts when connecting to Dovecot (IMAP). Thunderbird doesn't show any folders - timeout - the webmail System

Re: [GIT PULL] devel/pat + devel/kms.fixes-0.5 on RV730 PRO [Radeon HD 4650] Issue resolved
.config from Ubuntu instance just copied over to F13 instance.  2.6.32.19 rebuilt on F13 with minimal initramfs and get 3D on F13.   I also made diff between .configs   Looks like CONFIG_DRM_RADEON=y caused a problem   should be =m.   CONFIG_DRM_RADEON_KMS=y to make modesetting on radeon by   default.  Boris. --- On Wed, 8/18/10, Boris Derzhavets <bderzhavets@yahoo.com> wrote: From:

Need a little shadow to MySQL conversion help
Excuse me for being stupid and confused. I'm trying to convert my dovecot install from passwd-file to mysql. I have a single table called "users" that has 3 fields, user_name, domain_name and password. The data came from passwd/shadow files so it uses the same password encryption as the shadow files do. The directory where the email is stored is calculated elsewhere and not

Windows 7 access to Samba server: Strange performance/delay problems while opening share
Hello list! I have strange performance issue with an single Windows 7 client in a simple network setup with one samba server, and various windows clients (Win XP, Windows 7). All clients can open shares with explorer, without any delay (the share contents are listed directly). But one client, a lenovo Windows 7 Laptop has strange problems opening these same shares.
