IMAP Chunking Thunderbird
Hi, using dovecot-2.0.9-7.el6.x86_64 on CentOS release 6.5 (Final) I have an issue with thunderbird imap chunking. Some attachments are corrupted, because Thunderbird is just storing the first chunk. Since there are some workarounds by editing the "mail.imap.fetch_by_chunks" via about:config this is not the best choice for me because every client has to be edited. Is there a way to set

postlist chunking
Postlists are split up into chunks, so that skip_to can avoid reading all the postlist. Currently the chunk threshold is 2048, but this is checked before adding an entry, so the postlist chunk can actually grow a little larger. Something like 2060 at most. Unfortunately this isn't a good threshold with the default blocksize (8192 bytes). Internally the B-tree splits up items with a large

I don't really understand how it could happen. These event leaks are supposed to be checked

v2.3.3 rc1 - Error: sieve: !!BUG!!: Binary compiled from dovecot.sieve is still corrupt
I have a sieve problem with dovecot v2.3.3 rc1 with either of pigeonhole 0.5.2 or 0.5.3.rc1. The the change that triggers this is in dovecot not pigeonhole. Sieve filtering has been working with v2.3.2 and many earlier versions. Limit IMAP/IMAPS listening IPs
Hello list. I am running dovecot v2.2.13 on debian 8.8; I tried to add a "address =" statement for only localhost and one private IP, but then I got a complaint from system: dovecot[20515]: Error: systemd listens on port 143, but it's not configured in Dovecot. Closing. What is the proper way to resolve this? TIA & Regards, Dudi

Submission service capabilities listing
Hello all, I'm attempting to implement a submission server with questions in regards to how Dovecot handles the backend hosts capabilities. To my understanding, Dovecot will connect to the host specified in either submission_host or submission_relay_host, and gather a list of capabilities. Once gathered, after the client sends the EHLO greeting Dovecot will respond back with capabilities

OggPCM2 : chunked vs interleaved data

As suggested in Ogg documentation, for audio a simple sampling frame number ought to suffice, but I think the convention should still be spelled out. Secondly, I'd like to see the channel map fleshed out in more detail. (Beware

Submission service and SMTP AUTH capability
Hi Everyone! I've setup dovecot 2.3.2.1 on a Gentoo server. I want to configure the submission service in order to replace the corresponding part in Postfix (which is my SMTP server). I configured submission it with just a few options different of the default ones: submission_client_workarounds = whitespace-before-path submission_relay_host = 127.0.0.1 submission_relay_port = 10026

S4 class for chunked data that inherits from numeric- numeric methods won't work
Dear R-devel, I've created an S4 class called "range.vec", which is meant to hold a sequence of numbers, like one you would create using seq(). I'm trying to only store a chunk of the sequence at any given time, to save memory. this means that my class has slots for start, end, and step, as well as a cached chunk slot and a slot for where the chunk is indexed within the complete
