How to send mail to mailbox with disabled domain?
Is this a dovecot problem on your side? dovecot usually accepts mail from MTA like postfix, so it would be better to remove example1.com from postfix relaydomains (mailbox domains, alias domains, ...). Then there is no delivery to dovecot. Most MTAs ignore MX records - if a domain is configured locally, it gets delivered. Best regards Gerald > Am 11.09.2018 um 20:20 schrieb Kai Schaetzl

syncing imap servers with imapsync
hello list, I am attempting to sync two imap servers using the imapsync perl script. It seems handy and easy. Here's what happens when I try to do this: # # Postfix master process configuration file. For details on the format # of the file, see the master(5) manual page (command: "man 5 master"). # -o smtpd_sasl_auth_enable=yes # -o

Identify multiple users doing reverse port FWD with their pubkeys
Hello, I hope it's the correct ML to get support for "advanced" ssh use (sorry if it's not the case) And I would be very grateful if someone could help me on this issue. Here is my challenge : - I have X devices (around 30) and one SSH server - Each of them have a unique public key and create one dynamic reverse port forwarding on the server - All of them connect with the

Developer mailing list delivery issue
I wanted to bring up a security concern, and sent mail to openssh at openssh.com but the mail was not delivered.? I hope that one of the developers is on this list and can make sure this mail delivery problem is seen by the right people. (If needed, please contact me directly.)? My apologies for sending this to the whole list... (FYI, it is not about an urgent security issue, but something I

help for creating sendmail virtual users
hey friends, I have installed sendmail or it would rather say it comes default with the centos. I am using Centos4.0 and I am trying to configure sendmail with virtual users. I have created few users for my domain. My internal domain (example.com) is different from my isp domain (example1.com). The problem I am facing is that if the user1 at example1.com sends the mail to the user2 at

pop 110/995, imap 143/993 ?
If I read this correctly, starttls will fail due to the MITM attack. That is the client knows security has been compromised. Using SSL/TLS, the MITM can use SSL stripping. Since most Postifx conf use "may" for security, the message would go though unencrypted. Correct??? Is there something to enable for perfect forward security with starttls? ? Original Message ? SAN certificates for multiple domains and multiple services
Hi, I'm currently installing and configuring CentOS 7 on a public server. The machine will host a few small-to-midsize projects that are currently running on a handful of Slackware servers: public library databases, our public school's agenda, a small webradio, OwnCloud for myself and a local non-profit, etc. Until recently I've mostly used self-signed SSL certificates for stuff

Is there such a thing as "Password Safe Forwarding"?
Hello everyone, I work in a setting where remote logins are usually authenticated with SSH user keypairs, but many target accounts need to have a password set nonetheless (to use with sudo, log in via remote KVM, etc.) and cannot be put under a central user administration like LDAP. Enter a corporate password policy that requires passwords to be complex, different everywhere, and of limited

Samba 4.5.0 dbcheck problems
Hi all, I've recently upgraded all our DC's (we have 9 spread over various global Sites) to 4.5.0. I run a dbcheck on our FSMO-owner DC once per day from a cron job and this threw up a ton of errors on the first pass after the upgrade. After running it several times with the --fix flag I've got the errors down to 603 but these last errors are refusing to be removed. Here is an
