dovecot welcome scripts for multiple domains
Hello,
I've got dovecot 2.3 going, and it uses welcome scripts successfully.
My question is does anyone have a script that is multi-domain capable?
Currently mine sends it's welcome message from say
postmaster at domain1.com, well I've got five domains, can I set this
script up so that it's smart about them? If user at domain3.com logs in
it would send a message from postmaster at

Originate not understanding 2 vars in setvars
Hi,
I'm currently trying to originate a call with 2 variables set. I tried
doing it via manager API and call File and both failed, because the vars
were not separated. I'm using Asterisk 1.2_beta1 on this machine
Can anyone here verify wether this is a bug or just a stupid error on my
part?
This is the callfile I tried to use, after the manager way failed:

dovecot: config: Error: BUG: Config client connection sent too much data
Hello,
Today I started noticing a very odd Dovecot error in the mail logs
across 2 replicated Dovecot hosts via dsync. I have searched the Dovecot
archives, Google, back tracked, downgraded Dovecot to earlier versions
from earlier this year and ruled everything out I could think of to no
avail. There really are not any helpful reports with what I am
specifically seeing. The strange thing is only

Debian11 Samba backport and bind9
Hi Stefan,
I have exact that running: Samba 4.17.4 and bind 9.18 from the
bullseye-backports.
I my case "samba_dnsupdate --verbose --all-names" runs without any errors.
As like 9.16 I use the "dlz_bind9_18.so" entry in named.conf.
If you need further information to compare just ask.
Regards
Ingo

Patch for Digital Unix SIA authentication
A while back, I sent in a patch that added Digital Unix SIA
authentication to OpenSSH. Well, I just figured out that it didn't
handle everything correctly (locked accounts could still log in). I
thought I had checked that, but I guess I missed it.
Anyway, here is a patch against OpenSSH 2.2.0p1 that fixes this.

prefdm still unfinished?
After testing the beta of CentOS 5, i was a little surprised to notice that
the display manager part of the prefdm file in /etc/X11 was exactly like in
CentOS 4 / RHEL4 and previous versions including RH9.
it reads like this (added line numbers for reference):
14 # Run preferred X display manager
15 preferred=
16 if [ -f /etc/sysconfig/desktop ]; then
17 . /etc/sysconfig/desktop
