UNIX perms appear ok (ACL/MAC wrong?)
Hi, I am struggling with Postfix/SASL/Dovecot-IMAP setup with ~/Maildir/ setup. Receiving the mail works fine, but viewing the mail(+listing) is failing. The setup I use is simple unix users from etc/passwd, (pam thru SASL) as I only host for a few people. The ~/Maildir folder has the ownership of the user, not mail or vmail, as I would have expected from the master.cf from Postfix, the

Refilter Mailboxes via Sieve - Missing delivered-to header
Hello, i already read http://wiki.dovecot.org/HowTo/RefilterMail but it won't work here :( I have many old mails in my folders and need to refilter many of them. But there are many mails without a delivered-to-header. What can i do? Error: Configuration error: envelope_recipient specified header missing (delivered-to:1) Would be okay if getmail would just skip the mail, but it cancels.

Sieve/pigeonhole rejects email addresses for valid UNIX users
Self-explanatory, I hope (note the period on the end of the username); sieve/pigeonhole does not allow you to have senders which end with a period, which means that any UNIX users with such usernames who send mail have it rejected by sieve: # useradd testuser. # su - testuser. $ mail david at example.com -s 'testing' 123 . [testuser. at levi ~]$ logout # less /var/log/maillog Aug 22

pigeonhole ereject vs reject
Currently pigeonhole supports reject which would generate a NDR for each message. (If I understand the current documentation) Using Dovecot LMTP it would be more optimal to kick a 5xx back to the primary MTA to reject the delivery rather than generating more back scatter NDRs. Anyone know if this is possible now (to forgo the NDR)'s or do we need to wait for ereject ? If so, how much work

New plugin for Pigeonhole Sieve: sieve_pipe
Hello, I've finished up work on a new plugin for Pigeonhole Sieve: sieve_pipe. It adds a new Sieve extension (vnd.dovecot.pipe) providing a new action command that provides the possibility to pipe messages to external programs (e.g. shell scripts). The programs available to this command are explicitly limited and subject to administrator configuration. The plugin can currently only be

Pigeonhole sieve include namespace regression
Hi, We've recently upgraded from Dovecot 1.2.15 with Sieve 0.1.18 (Debian Squeeze) to Dovecot 2.1.8 and Pigeonhole 0.3.1. We provide a selection of global sieve scripts to make users' lives easier and one noticed that some of these have stopped working. I tracked it down to them having personal scripts with the same name. Using a really simple sieve script: require "include";

dovecot-sieve (pigeonhole) -- is is possible to "re-filter" INBOX when filters have been updated?
Hello, Dovecot. I want to migrate to webmail (roundcube) over dovecot + sieve (pigeonhole). Now I'm using on-client (The Bat!) filters, but I need to have acccess to my mail everywhere, not only on my workstation. And I wonder, is here simple way to re-filter INBOX after sieve filters have been changed? Any offline (desktop) mail client could run new filters on old messages -- is
