This doesn't really fix your problem, you just removed the signs of it.
The order of the files in /etc/dovecot/conf.d matters.
Please provide the following:
doveconf -n
grep -B2 -A1 'mail_plugins

Warning message
Hi,
In my maillog I see this warning message at every reception of e-mail:
_STATUS=SENT (DELIVERED VIA DOVECOT SERVICE (DOVECONF: WARNING:
/ETC/DOVECOT/CONF.D/90-QUOTA.CONF LINE 39: GLOBAL SETTING MAIL_PLUGINS
WON'T CHAN....._
It is just a warning, the e-mail was delivered.
I don't find where is the problem.
Thank's.

This looks overly complicated for a doveconf-n output but it seems to

Mail list empty on my mailserver
Hello,
After changing NAS, I meet a problem when I go on my e-mail box with my
webmail.
Either e-mails do not appear anymore, or they appear but are "empty".
When I look in the directory of the e-mails of my mailserver, these
e-mails are present.
I tried to rename files "dovecot.index*" and to restart dovecot but
nothing can be done.
To make the seesaw of a NAS towards an

Spam Blocking by filtering on username / id
This is probably quite an easy question, but I haven't been able to find the answer. I'm running a server where all the email addresses are in the format "user at domain.com". I've noticed that a large number of fake login attempts use the format "user" eg. reception, service, root, admin.
Is it possible to prevent any such logins to these email users without an

dovecot logs to audit.log not to maillog
Hello,
I have a curious phenomenon.
Dovecot logs normally to /var/log/maillog.
If I restart my server, dovecot loggs to /var/log/audit/audit.log.
If I restart dovecot, dovecot loggs to /var/log/maillog again.
And I think, wenn logrotate is restarting, dovecot logs to audit.log.
But I don't know why.
Any Ideas?
greetings Ralf

[Fwd: Re: dovecot logs to audit.log not to maillog]
Hello,
now I have done this:
under http://wiki.dovecot.org/Logging?highlight=(logging)
Rotating Logs
is the following string
-----------------------
/bin/kill -USR1 `cat /var/run/dovecot/master.pid 2>/dev/null` 2>
/dev/null || true
------------------------
This string I have insert in
/etc/logrotate.d/syslog under the lines:
postrotate
/bin/kill -HUP `cat /var/run/syslogd.pid

sendmail maillog rotation on centos 4
Hi,
I'm trying to figure out which process is rotating my maillog every
Sunday at 4:03 am. This happens on all of my centos 4 boxes.
AFAICT, logrotate is not running. This is from a fairly minimal
install, so I'm assuming this is a default process.
