fts-solr: Returning 400 on searches; unescaped braces
Using Debian, dovecot-solr 1:2.2.26.0-4, and solr-tomcat 3.6.2+dfsg-9, I am getting 400 errors when doing searches. Here is an example search query from dovecot that failed (captured with wireshark): Frame 23: 338 bytes on wire (2704 bits), 338 bytes captured (2704 bits) on interface 0 Linux cooked capture Internet Protocol Version 6, Src: ::1, Dst: ::1 Transmission Control Protocol, Src

Bug: Dovecot index loosing sync with FTS despite "fts_autoindex = yes"
dovecot 2.2.34 solr 7.2 I only see new messages after typing on the server "doveadm fts rescan -u username" though I've followed the wiki and added "fts_autoindex = yes" in 90-plugin.conf . Subsequent search for the same pattern always gives the same result, ignoring new emails with that particular pattern. Solr is working correctly and the correct search results comes

fts-solr indexer-worker connects to wrong solr host dovecot-2.2.4
Hello. We're setting up fts solr and want to have the solr server host be set per-user via UserDB. It looks like if a user connects and fts indexes mail, and then another user connects and indexes mail, indexer-worker is connecting to the first user's fts host: User1, hammer at rp-auth-test.com connects, does a SEARCH for the first time, indexer-worker gets UserDB settings and

FTS solr issue with second private namespace
Hi all, I have just stumbled over an issue with the FTS plugin of dovecot. For our primary namespace, INBOX and its subfolders, searching works without any problems but in a second namespace, which I have created for old/archived mails, searching of the mail text/body does not work. I can see the search request in the tomcat log but no result is created and the mail client (Thunderbird) keeps

fts_solr does not quote lucene's special characters
Hello, I am using Dovecot 2.2.19 with the solr backend for full text search and experience the following issue. When I issue a search that includes characters that are part of lucene's query syntax (e.g. the double quote character), dovecot does not escape the special characters and issues a request with invalid syntax to the solr server. For example, I search for foo"bar, then

Missing hits when performing full-text searches
Hi, we're running Dovecot 2.1.7 together with Solr for efficient fulltext search. A couple of days ago we reinstalled our Solr server on a new machine. After adjusting our Dovecot setup to use the new server, it took a few days to notice that something seems fishy about our full-text search: expected hits wouldn't be shown among the search results. For instance, one of the folders (a
