Listening on multiple ports
I appreciate your suggestion. That'll allow both ports or only 8839? Listening on multiple ports
Many thanks - it doesn't work for me, however. There must be something in my configuration somewhere else, perhaps nothing to do with Dovecot, that prevents this. :-) On 27/04/18 18:55, Aki Tuomi wrote: > Yep. > > Aki > >> On 27 April 2018 at 09:50 Derek Harding <rev.derek.harding at gmail.com> wrote: >> >> >> I appreciate your

different TLS protocols on different ports
Hello, I'm providing IMAP+Starttls on port 143 for users with legacy MUA. So I've to enable TLS1.0 up to TLS1.3 For IMAPS / port 993 I like to enable TLS1.2 and TLS1.3 only. Is this possible with dovecot-2.2.36 / how to setup this? Thanks for suggestions, Andreas

How to configure dovecot imap to listen on multiple ports?
I need my dovecot imap server to listen on ports 143, 993, and also 30143 and 30993. What syntax do I use in (I presume) the /etc/dovecot/conf.d/10-master.conf file to do this? Thanks! Rick

Liebert PSA "On Battery" report
I guess it's kind of a natural response on my part, working professionally in software. T-Shooting step one: Get current and see if the problem persists. If it does, then step rwo: debug. 2+ years is forever in software, noting that 2.6.3 was mid 2012 . . . - Tim On October 17, 2014 9:38:15 PM CDT, Charles Lepple <clepple at gmail.com> wrote: >On Oct 17, 2014, at 8:31 PM, Tim Dawson

dovecot listening imaps external interface
Hello, I'm trying to get dovecot to listen on specific interfaces. On the server itself I've got webmail going so am needing imap on 143. I do not want this on the external server interface, so I am wanting imaps port 993 external only. The configuration looks right, but Dovecot isn't showing anything listening on port 993 at all. Unrelated, my public and shared folders are not

Liebert PSA "On Battery" report
Hi, Back in 2011, it was reported that Liebert PSA devices persist in reporting OB (On Battery) when using usbhid-ups regardless of the actual state. Pier Paolo did some work (2011) which reportedly solved the issue. However, that doesn't seem to have reached mainstream and I now face the same problem. I'm using NUT 2.6.3 with a new Liebert PSA 1500Va that only ever reports OB and

I downloaded latest source and it compiles ok but the original usbhid-ups.c is unchanged. Pier changed other files, too, and I don't know the changes needed. Simply substituting the modified (as per 2011) usbhid-ups gives a failed connection to the ups. So I have tried a little. I'll uninstall 2.6.3 and try to install 2.7.2 from a fresh compile. Thanks for the responses so far :-) --

Secondary groups and Posix ACL
I've got a very odd situation occurring. I recently upgraded to Samba 2.0.26a and now secondary group membership doesn't work. On the filesystem I have this layout /derek /derek/Folder 1 /derek/Folder 2 derek has these ACLs # file: derek # owner: root # group: root user::rwx group::r-x other:r-x Folder 1 has these ACLs # file: Folder 1 # owner: root # group: g1

mdbox_deleted proper syntax
hello, on the wiki, https://wiki2.dovecot.org/MailboxFormat/dbox, it says that one can use either doveadm fetch or doveadm import, however I can find no correct syntax with fetch that'll actually work. Is the idea to simply override the mail_location with -o ? That seems to work for doveadm mailbox but not for doveadm fetch or search # doveadm -f table mailbox status -u johan

Dovecot 2 multiple address/port binding

Why would any REMOTE WILDCARD = "No match" ???
Using newest rsync on Mac OS X: Why would THIS work: rsync -avze ssh derek@mydomain.com:/home/derek/digitize.pub ./ But THIS immediately shoot back a "No match" error: rsync -avze ssh derek@mydomain.com:/home/derek/*.pub ./ The 2nd example doesn't even try to log in. Rsync just immediately shoots back this error: rsync: No match. Wildcard DOES
