quota-warning.sh not working (lda problem?)
Hi, I setup a new mailserver with dovecot 2.0.12. Everything is working fine (including quota) - except of sending quota warning mails. When running /usr/local/bin/quota-warning.sh 95 user at domain.de manually as root or user vmail, the mail is delivered. content of /usr/local/bin/quota-warning.sh #!/bin/sh PERCENT=$1 USER=$2 logger -p mail.info "$PERCENT% Quota-warning sent to

This doesn't really fix your problem, you just removed the signs of it. The order of the files in /etc/dovecot/conf.d matters. Please provide the following: doveconf -n grep -B2 -A1 'mail_plugins

quota warning by script fails
Hello! I looked around all online resources I found, but I'm not able to find my failure. So any help would be welcome! The problem arises with an dovecot 2.2.6 on a 9.2 FreeBSD RELEASE in a jailed environment. I have the following config settings regarding quota (which works in general, but just without calling the script): /etc/dovecot/conf.d/90-quota.conf: ... plugin { quota_warning =

LDAP Quota Limits & Warnings
I found this on the dovecot wiki: The following limit names are supported: * *storage*: Quota limit in kilobytes, 0 means unlimited. * *bytes*: Quota limit in bytes, 0 means unlimited. * *messages*: Quota limit in number of messages, 0 means unlimited. This probably isn't very useful. * *backend*: Quota backend-specific limit configuration. *

LDAP Auth problems with auth_bind=yes
Hi, I first posted this problem a day or two ago and have not seen any responses yet. To clarify my problem, I am authenticating virtual users against Active Directory on Win2k3, where their login id is their email address. I am using an almost identical setup to Suranga's below, however my initial bind user doesn't have access to the userPassword attribute, so I am using: auth_bind

Warning recipient when message delivery fails due to over-quota
I'm working to configure automated quota notifications in Dovecot and am wondering if it is possible to send a warning message to a user when message delivery fails because the user is over-quota. I already have the following directives configured: quota_warning = storage=95%% quota-warning 95 %u %d quota_warning2 = storage=80%% quota-warning 80 %u %d quota_warning3 = -storage=100%%

n00b rsyslog.conf question - how to separate local syslog from network appliance syslog?
I have several network appliances, and I want aggregate their syslog output for later analysis. Eventually I might think about a Splunk box, but for the interim I'm hoping to just build a CentOS 6 syslog server and have it aggregate everything on it for quick review. I installed rsyslog and am looking through the /etc/rsyslog.conf file for what I configure to (a) listen for syslog input from
