Cannot delete IMAP Mail-Folder in Trash
Hello, I've noticed an annoying problem. Trying to delete a folder that has been deleted on IMAP and is moved to trash has problems being deleted. Thunderbird reports: "Folder contains children" and stops there. Folder at first disappears. But after restarting Thunderbird they are still there and on Dovecot-Mailbox folder on the server the folders are also still present.

Cannot delete IMAP Mail-Folder in Trash
We have the same problem, with a twist. When Thunderbird deletes a folder, it is still shown by the GUI. Dovecot deleted the folder correctly, and the sunscriptions file is also correct. Some other times, on shared folders, Thunderbird refuses to delete; in this case, apple mail on iphone can delete successfully. This suggests that the problem is in Thunderbird's code. SAN certificates for multiple domains and multiple services
Hi, I'm currently installing and configuring CentOS 7 on a public server. The machine will host a few small-to-midsize projects that are currently running on a handful of Slackware servers: public library databases, our public school's agenda, a small webradio, OwnCloud for myself and a local non-profit, etc. Until recently I've mostly used self-signed SSL certificates for stuff

I've tried to create an certbot SAN-Cert with multiple domain-names and this worked like a charm using one cert for all! Thanks! How do Cerbot files map to Dovecot?
I am postponing the Apache plugin issue (CentOS is not Certbot friendly) and requesting a standalone, generic certificate. After the command "1: Spin up a temporary webserver" I have the following 2 files in the folder /etc/letsencrypt: -rw-r--r-- 1 root root? 924 Nov 12 11:14 csr/0000_csr-certbot.pem -rw------- 1 root root 1708 Nov 12 11:14 keys/0000_key-certbot.pem The

I also noticed that the /var/www/html directory does not even have the .well-known directory in it. The /var/www/html directory was root:root I changed it to root:apache

Need help deduplicating messages fetched with getmail into dovecot mailbox
Hello everyone, I'm using getmail to fetch some external mails from POP3 into a dovecot mailbox (providing IMAP). Getmail seems to have some serious problems keeping track of mails already fetched. I have every Mail exactly twice in my Mailbox delivered by Dovecot. Of course they are not in the original external POP3 Inbox. I hope I'm in right place here. I think the problem is not

Upgrade to 2.3.1 has failed
Problem: We had Dovecot v2.2 working just fine under openSUSE Leap 42.3. But we upgraded openSUSE to Leap 15.0. In the process, Dovecot got upgraded from 2.2 to 2.3.1. It no longer works and I haven't figured out how to downgrade to the older working version. The key issue seems to be the change to requiring dh.pem and changing s sl_protocols to ssl_min_protocols.?I think I've navigated

letsencrypt
Hello, I know some users here are using letsencrypt for their CA. If this is to off topic write me privately. I'm wanting letsencrypt to take over as my CA, replacing existing self signed certificates. I've got web working, a certificate for https sites and one for webmail as they have different names. What I'm now wanting to do is get letsencrypt going for my email setup, the smtp
