Search fails on underscores in quoted-printable
Hi folks, currently I'm running Dovecot 1.2.1. Compiled from source on Fedora 10 Linux 32 Bit (all patches). Clients are Pine 4.64, Thunderbird 2.0.0.22 and Mutt 1.5.20 (using "=b" for server-side searching). When a message contains the text "under_score" and I let the server search for it, Dovecot does not find it in messages with a Content-Transfer-Encoding of

Pathetic Upgrade Question: 2.0.9 to 2.3.0
My version output is below, under the heading "My actual question". Background to my woes: =================== I installed a new virtual machine with CentOS 6.9 (I'll refer to it as xxserverxx) and included the postfix server. I configured a virtual network, did a decent job of hardening firewalls for both physical host and virtual guests. I was able to get mail / mailx to send

Crash in sieve_extprogram_create() after dovecot/pigeonhole update
Hi all. My dovecot setup: pf at vulcan:~ ? dovecot --version 2.3.0 (c8b89eb) on Arch Linux, x86_64 (full config here: [0]) uses sieve plugin to train rspamd system as described in the wiki [1]. It used to work fine prior to 2.3.0/0.5.0 update, but now "imap" process crashes when I move spam letters from the inbox to the junk folder. I've recompiled both dovecot and pigeonhole

zlib plugin producing errors on 2.3.0
Hello, I use the zlib and imap_zlib plugins on FreeBSD. As of 2.3.0, my logs are producing these errors every so often, but AFAICT the messages themselves aren't getting corrupted. Panic: file ostream-zlib.c: line 36 (o_stream_zlib_close): assertion failed: (zstream->ostream.finished || zstream->ostream.ostream.stream_errno != 0) Fatal: master: service(imap): child 80128 killed with

dovecot v2.3.0: imap segfault when sieve_extprograms_plugin.so called
Hi, I have recently upgraded to dovecot v2.3 on Ubuntu 16.04.3 from repo.dovecot.org and I switched to IMAPSieve for rspamd with the guide from the wiki. When a mail is moved from Junk to another Inbox or vice-versa imap segfaults. I have posted debug logs and versions below, any help will be greatly appreciated. Thanks, Rhys Williams lux at bifrost:~$ dovecot --version 2.3.0 (c8b89eb) lux at

Using 2.3.0/0.5 and the below scripts/config, why doesn?t a mail addressed to ler_freebsd at lerctr.org get the FreeBSD flag? .dovecot.sieve points to master.sieve. Scripts: http://www.lerctr.org/~ler/sieve/ doveconf -n: thebighonker.lerctr.org /home/ler/sieve $ doveconf -n # 2.3.0 (c8b89eb): /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # Pigeonhole version 0.5.0 (d68c23a1) # OS: FreeBSD

dovecot vs. mutt: no full index sync on Maildir new/ mtime change
Hi, everyone! This is a follow-up to "Looks like a bug to me: Dovecot ignores Maildir/new timestamp" from Fredrik Roubert on 01.12.2015: https://www.dovecot.org/list/dovecot/2015-December/102585.html I've run into the same problem as Fredrik: When manipulating my Maildir locally with mutt, deleting a message from new/ doesn't cause a full update of the index. Therefore, IMAP

ssl_curve_list seems to be ignored with Dovecot 2.3
Hi all, after upgrading to Dovecot 2.3, I've noticed the new "ssl_curve_list" TLS option in 10-ssl.conf. Setting it to "ssl_curve_list = X25519:P-256" or leaving it blank (auto) does not change anything, Dovecot keeps on negotiating P-384: Server Temp Key: ECDH, P-384, 384 bits When using "-curves X25519" in s_client, it does a fallback to DH: Server Temp Key:

Index corruption
I'm getting pretty constant index corruption on (admittedly large) Maildir folders. I'm running Thunderbird 0.7.3 and Mutt as my IMAP clients (on FreeBSD). Server is Dovecot 0.99.10.9 configured thusly: ./configure --disable-ipv6 CC=gcc-3.3 CXX=g++-3.3 --prefix=/opt/dovecot --without-pop3d on a Solaris 2.8 box. Maildirs are NFS-mounted, but the index files are on local UFS
