Migrating from Dovecot 1 to Dovecot 2
Hello.
I try to migrate about 200G of mails from one server to another.
On the old i have Dovecot1 with Maildirs (without master pass etc.), on the
new one i setup dovecot2 with mdbox. I need now to migrate (partialy, not
all at once) mails from one to another.
I can't find any solution that i can use? I dont have master password, and
i want to mikgrate all mailaccont each other. Can anyone

doveadm dsync-server doesn't use user parameter?

I tried to migrate my dovecot 2.2 to a new server with a other storage
configuration and dovecot 2.3.
New (and old) Server uses mysql for user information

dovecot on wheezy, best ssl configuration ?
Hi all, when hardening dovecot against the POODLE vulnerability,
we followed the advise to disable SSL2 and SSL3
but this is giving problems with some email clients (claws-mail).
ssl_protocols = !SSLv2 !SSLv3
results in the following error:

Linux Distribution: Debian Jessie
CPU Architecture: x64
Filesystem: GlusterFS/NFS, XFS for Base System/Index Files.
Two Dovecot/Postfix nodes accessing same GlusterFS/NFS Maildir.
Regardless what i choose in mail_location (:INDEX=MEMORY or
:INDEX=/var/indexes/%d/%n) all Mailbox index files will still get
created within the users mail_location maildir: ~/Maildir

Updated Dovecot 2.3.0 now getting 2 strange log errors
I did some more digging around and found this is reproducible on
multiple hosts running the same version of Dovecot/Pigeonhole/Postfix.
The problem resurfaces on any host to an account with enabled
Vacation/OOO response. The Vacation/OOO reply filter was created in
Roundcubemail, but has been fine for years. One thing to note is in
Dovecot 2.3.0 I did enable UTF8, but even if I disable UTF8

I'm not sure if this is a Dovecot-specific question, or Postfix or
Horde webmail. As Dovecot is used for authenticating both Postfix as
well as horde I thought i'd start here.
I've got a new horde webmail install going on a FreeBSD 11.1 jail.
I've got Dovecot set up so that it appends a domain name if one is not
given, so that user and user at example.com can both log in.

dovecot & OCFS2 Cluster

We have an ocfs2 cluster compose of 4 Debian lenny serveurs wich have
access to an ISCSI LUN we have create a partition on this Lun and
formated this partition as OCFS2.
2 serveurs does mail delivery (SMTP) and the two other are pop/imap
servers. The smtp servers use dovecot LDA to deliver to mailboxes. La

I was able to workaround the ?Error: sync: /var/run/dovecot/auth-userdb: Configured passdbs don?t support credentials lookups (to see if user is proxied, because doveadm_port is set)? problem:?
