dovecot not delivering emails in the right folder
Hello everyone,
I'm having trouble getting postfix + dovecot to work correctly.
It seems like Postfix is receiving and delivering the emails correctly but
dovecot is placing/looking for them in the wrong folder therefore the
clients aren't receiving any new emails.
I switched from courier and followed a tutorial found here:

This hasn't seen any QA yet, so handle with care.

status & use-case of fts_solr?
i've deployed a Solr server, and setup Dovecot for *both* squat & solr FTS.
iiuc, reading at,
http://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/FTS
http://wiki.dovecot.org/Plugins/FTS/Solr
as of dovecot v1.1.2, squat's required for IMAP compliance; solr
search breaks it. is that still the case in v1.2? Is IMAP-compliant
Solr search possible? planned?
if the goal is fast, indexed FTS of dovecot

Is "break-imap-search" still required using 2.1 with Solr to index TEXT
& BODY searches?

wrong search results with fts_solr
I am getting some very weird search results with fts_solr.
1) when I do a search for "testin" I get 0 results.
2) when I do a search for "testing" i get 44 results.
The problem is that I am expecting only 1 result.
I don't know the solr internal very much, but does anyone have any idea
what is going on?
Thanks,
-Joe

Aw: fts_solr Bad Request / BUG: Unknown internal error
Hi,
I had the same experience. I used the current dovecot and SOLR 5.2. It works with 4.10, so my first wild guess would be that there is a bug in dovecots url encoding sending to solr (they possibly updated some stuff in url handling? - don't know).
In SOLR 5.2 i created a core "mail3" and copied the config from my working 4.10 installation. Indexing new messages seem to work, but

fts_solr does not quote lucene's special characters
Hello,
I am using Dovecot 2.2.19 with the solr backend for full text search
and experience the following issue.
When I issue a search that includes characters that are part of lucene's
query syntax (e.g. the double quote character), dovecot does not escape
the special characters and issues a request with invalid syntax to the
solr server.
For example, I search for foo"bar, then
