Dovecot dsync not replicating ".dovecot.sieve -> .sieve/managesieve.sieve" / setactive
Hello,
I've ran into problem with Dovecot and dsync replication. Everything
works perfectly, including replication of sieve scripts, except fact
that if user activates the 'managesieve' ruleset (I'm using currently
Roundcubemail) on "mail1" host, it wouldn't be activated on "mail2"
host, by creating symlink ".dovecot.sieve ->

Hello Aki,
This is the only piece of relevant info I've been getting in the logs,
and I'm trying to figure out how I can get more debug data on this:

Using `fileinto` to move a mail into another mailbox removes flags

Following the rfc5232, Sieve Email Filtering: Imap4flags Extension
the following filter doesn't work when the `"flagvar"` part is added
require "imap4flags";

removing the `"flagvar"` part works as expected

Replication: Can't unsubscribe from shared mailbox
Hi,
I am running two dovecot servers active/active.
Everything runs pretty great, except for the replication of subscriptions in a shared namespace.
When I unsubscribe from a folder the subscription instantly re-appears. The timestamp on the subscriptions file is updated, but the entry is still in there.
If the other node is shut down, everything works as expected, which leads me to believe that

Odd replication behaviour
Hi,
I have just built a new pair of similar machines both running CentOS 8.2 (selinux disabled) and Dovecot 2.3.8 (9df20d2db).
One machine is a VPS (host A) and one is on my home network (host B). The idea is that they are set up in a master/master config with Dovecot replication.
I seem to have this 95% working but there is one strange issue I can?t work out.
Currently B is a perfect replica

Core dump during UID Search
Hey all,
I keep finding core dumps of the IMAP process on my FreeBSD 11.2, however the backtrace is not very useful:

sieve_max_script_size is ignored
That's what I was afraid of. Some users are trying to set up vacation
message with inline picture. I am aware it's not ideal but in some cases
it's needed.
It would be nice if this configuration option works in the future.

LDAP users issue
Hi Team,
I have enabled LDAP authentication with webmail client and it works
successfully. But I found an error with LDAP user's mail. Email is not
loaded when I log with an LDAP user. Login phase is successful and mail box
is the issue. I created a mail user without including LDAP and that user
works fine.
Issue comes only with LDAP users.

Dovecot Master User: Access user's mailbox without owner's password
Hi, I hope you're all right. I describe below the scenario where the
problem occurs.
I'm trying to activate a master user [1] to be able to access all the

I have configured the dovecot-master-users [2] file with the
appropriate permissions.
When I try to access, for example with roundcube, through

2.3.1 with quota and lmtp; message may be sent more than once
Hi,
I have another problem with dovecot 2.3.1 on FreeBSD (smtpd is postfix
3.3.0). When one mail is sent with different recipients and the quota
limit of one user is exceeded, the message will be delivered repeatedly
to all users. The queue from postfix says:

sending end of data -- message may be sent more than once)

Postfix/dovecot: user unrecognized, file permissions being misread
Hello all. Have spent several days following the excellent tutorial:
http://www.binarytides.com/install-postfix-dovecot-debian/
but still fail to have the user recognized and am getting log entries
that the mail directories are 0755 when I can clearly see that they are
0774.
Very puzzling, any help would be deeply appreciated.
Best regards, Andy
