Assertion during dsync receive
Hi, I'm getting an assertion failed on the receiving side, causing syncs to fail for one user. The servers are setup so that only one is receiving any traffic other than replication at any time. The one that's only receiving replications is the one that's failing. I've tried deleting the user's home on the receiving server, but it still crashes during the sync. Oddly, the

Thanks. I've had the user clear out that mailbox, and replication is working fine for them again. Is there a better way to catch this than watch for crashes and read the backtrace to find what mailbox needs to be shrunk? Where is the threshold for "too big"? -- Ian On 2/23/18 11:33 AM, Aki Tuomi wrote: > The mailbox is too big. > > > > --- > Aki Tuomi >

[2.3.4] Segmentation faults
Thanks for mySql For Squat vs Solr, Solr does not reach Squat by very far in terms of results : If I setup Solr, and search (via the search in Roundbube or Evolution) for a keyword or part of the keyword, the results are complete non sense. The diference between "search in full body" and "search in fields" does not even work. Solr with Dovecot seems very early beta

We don't consider it as "very early beta". We consider it production ready. It is bit more work to set up though. Running dsync results in Panic: file mbox-lock.c: line 799 (mbox_lock)
Hello, I'm converting our system to use dovecot. As part of the migration we need to convert existing mbox'es to Maildir format. I'm using latest Dovecot2 available as FreeBSD pkg - 2.2.13. I'm trying to use dsync, which results in: ./dsync -vfu ppaczyn -o mail_location=mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/ppaczyn mirror maildir:~/Maildir dsync(ppaczyn): Panic: file mbox-lock.c: line 799

1.0alpha4: mbox-lock asserts and cores
Timo, I upgraded from alpha3 to alpha4 yesterday, and I am seeing a few of the following asserts: imap(user): file mbox-lock.c: line 379 (mbox_lock_fcntl): assertion failed: (lock_type == F_UNLCK) Gdb info on a couple of the cores is attached. It looks like the arg lock_type for mbox_lock_fcntl() is not getting passed in correctly, like the enum "enum mbox_lock_type type" in

Replication between different versions of dovecot
Hi, Can't find any notes about this in documentation. Is replication supposed to work between different versions of dovecot? I've just found that dovecot 2.2.33.1 was uploaded to debian unstable and it crashes on every replication with older dovecot 2.2.27. (version 2.2.32.1 was probably ok) Summary: - 2.2.33.1 crashes when replicating from/to 2.2.27 - 2.2.32.1 probably ok when
