failed to store into mailbox 'INBOX/Junk': Permission denied
I add a clarification: Now that I've commented out sieve Junk/Trash on "/etc/dovecot/conf.d/15-mailboxes.conf" > mailbox Junk > { special_use = \Junk > } > mailbox Trash > { special_use = \Trash > } remains a single account with permission issues, only one with write permissions controlled by the ACL plugin: > plugin { > acl =

Dovecot, JavaMail, UIDs and Message Numbers
Hi, new to this list, so a little prelude to my issue with Dovecot. We have been using JavaMail against Cyrus for ages, and developed Webtop, a huge Java web collaboration application running on them in production in various installations for all this time. Recently we had to run the same software against Dovecot pre-existing accounts running on Nethesis NethServer solution. After some time of

javamail imap listing
Hi Michael, Geronimo JavaMail hard defaults to / separator. If the separator is manually set to undefined it automatically calculates the separator correctly. However neither through JavaMail or by command line does LIST "." "*" or LIST . "*" produce any root listing of default folder on my Dovecot installation. Only LIST "" "*" produces a

quota-status returns quota_status_success when email would put user over quota
Hi list, We still did not manage to get quota-status working. We're hoping someone can provide some feedback/ideas on how we may investigate this issue further? Is it likely to be a bug fixed in a newer version? Recommended tool for migrating IMAP servers

It is dreadfully slow -- I used it to export some of my users' mailboxes to Gmail or other remote mail servers, and I could almost cut&paste the messages faster. Like Aki

Need 2 additional folders like INBOX for JUNK and INFECTED mails
Hi there, i need for JUNK & INFECTED mail two folders like INBOX. The folders must be fixed in naming, permissions and so on. I've adjusted some commands in the ./src/imap folder. But it's work not really fine: Creating a folder works, but deleting too. *smile* Moving a "special-name-folder" (f.e. from Trash) to its correct place, Dovecot says, that the folder

dovecot lost mail! Cause?
Hi, After using dovecot for several years now, today happend something which makes me really feel unconfortable: An email received was just not delivered properly, or, is lost! The mail (from an external server) was sent to two local mailboxes, user1 and user2. user1 received the message but for user2, it *magically* disappeared. MTA is exim4 which definitely processed the messages and handed

javamail imap listing
"A non-empty reference name argument is the name of a mailbox or a level of mailbox hierarchy, and indicates the context in which the mailbox name is interpreted." If Dovecot is using "." as the separator in the base level of hierarchy, then it correctly is returning nothing for 'LIST / "*"' - since no mailboxes in Dovecot live under that base level of

can't read attachments using javamail with dovecot
Dear folks, this might be a java-bug, but it seems to occur only when connecting to dovecot-IMAP. UW and Cyrus-ditto works, while when I try to read attachments (base64), I get slapped in the face with this: java.lang.NullPointerException at com.sun.mail.iap.Response.parse(Response.java:99) at com.sun.mail.iap.Response.<init>(Response.java:68) at

SIP connections over OpenVPN connection get one-way voice.
You need to ensure that traffic to the SIP box is sent to the correct IP. Also if you use split-tunnel (eg: not redirect-gateway def1) you must make sure NAT and traffic redirection works as is so the Asus router knows it should send the traffic through tunnel and not via WAN. IMPORTANT: Then you must, in the ASUS RT-N66U make a port forward inwards from TUN to the phone client. I would suggest
