[bug] Auth cache, proxy and ITERINDEX
Hi, today we have exceprienced really major difficulties with our proxy backend servers. Everything started after enabling auth cache: auth_cache_size = 100M auth_cache_verify_password_with_worker = yes auth_cache_ttl = 1 hour auth_cache_negative_ttl = 1 hour Soon after we start receiving lots of calls from our customers about 'missing all e-mail messages'. This was in errors logs on

question on autch cache parameters
Hi list, I have a question on auth caching in 2.2.18. I am using acl_groups for a master user, appended in a static userdb file # snip ############################### master at uma:{SHA}XXXX=::::::userdb_acl_groups=umareadmaster allow_nets=127.0.0.1 # snap ############################### and use this group in a global ACL file. I discovered this only works on first NOT-cached login

[Bug] FTS double escaping
Hi, i'm trying to resolve few problems with indexing 'From' headers using FTS/Solr. I was tcpdumping the communication between Dovecot and Jetty/Solr and noticed that 'From' headers, which includes also sender's name, are double escaped. This is what was Dovecot sending to Solr: </field><field name="from">Name Surname <test at

Pretec Allegro does not appear to play Oggs
Can I change the wiki? The box claims it plays oggs, the tech. specs. in the booklet claims it plays oggs, *some* places on the website claims it supports oggs, but it doesn't actually play my oggs. Can I move it to a "misadvertised" section, or a "rumours" section, or what can I do to indicate this to other people, so they don't accidentaly buy it? Hugo

Servreg $loglik
Dear R-experts: I am using survreg() to estimate the parameters of a Weibull density having right-censored observations. Some observations are weighted. To do that I regress the weighed observations against a column of ones. When I enter the data as 37 weighted observations, the parameter estimates are exactly the same as when I enter the data as the corresponding 70 unweighted observations.

FTS

Now i wanted to use FTS (solr) on backends but i'm getting this error after every email is received:

Why do not prevent users from creating a local copy of c() ?
Hi all, sometime in the past I accidentaly created a copy of the c() primitive function inside my ``laboratory'' workspace, which I normally use to experiment and learn. As a consequence, c() stopped to work correctly and started to return lists of symbols instead of vectors, and today I had to spend much time to seek out that the problem was in that specific workspace (if only I had

Is it possible to prevent users from ever deleting anything?
Hi, dear dovecot-users, is it possible to make dovecot ignore the DELETE command for some accounts? Basically what I want to achieve is: users shall not be able to delete their emails - but they still should be able write emails. This is meant for a setup where different users are sending and receiving emails for a "support" account. I looked into IMAP virtual folders and ACL but I

fitting lognormal censored data
Hi , I am trying to get some estimator based on lognormal distribution when we have left, interval, and right censored data. Since, there is now avalible pakage in R can help me in this, I had to write my own code using Newton Raphson method which requires first and second derivative of log likelihood but my problem after runing the code is the estimators were too high. with this email ,I provide

How to set type of censored data in coxph regression
Dear R users, I tried to analysis the hazard function of some data by coxph function in survival package. The type of the data include "left-censored", "right-censored", "both right-censored and left-censored" (btw, does this has a technical term?), and "complete" ones. I noticed that event (one parameter in "Surv()") might be an indicator for the

NADA package/cenboxplot() method: maximum censored percentage
One set of data has censored (less-than detection limits) water chemistry concentrations for 80-100% of all observations. My initial trial-and-error attempts to apply the cenboxplot() method suggests that it has an upper limit to the percentage of censored observations. I do not see this limit in Dennis Helsel's second edition. Has anyone experience plotting censored data and can provide
