Issue with virtual folder: partially see them and cannot subscribe
Also, thunderbird has a bug in subscription dialog that you need to collapse and expand the levels to see more levels. Can you check your subscriptions file that it gets added something? You probably want to set subscriptions=no, so they will be done in the parent namespace instead. Hello Community, I am trying to figure out hwo to use the virtual mailboxes, but remain a bit confused: - I see the Virtual speudo-folder - Eventuelly the name of the boxes underneath - But cannot see more, nor subscrie to the virtual mailboxes Dovecot: # 2.2.29.1 (e0b76e3): /usr/local/etc/dovecot/dovecot.conf # Pigeonhole version 0.4.18 (29cc74d) # OS: Linux 4.4.50-v7+ armv7l Debian 8.0 ext4

dovecot-virtual folder configuration
Hi all, Long story short, I'd like to configure a folder containing: INBOX (some other folders) -> unseen emails from these folders + all other emails (also seen) from the same thread -> seen emails from these folders, but only the recent ones + all other emails from the same thread I tried: # inthread refs (or (or recent unseen) recent ) inthread refs unseen # inthread

Virtual Folder configuration problem.
I'm attempting to create a virtual inbox that contains all unread messages from the user's Maildir. I created a conf file called 80-virtual.conf containing: mail_plugins = $mail_plugins virtual namespace { prefix = virtual/ separator = / location = virtual:~/Maildir/virtual } And created the /home/username/Maildir/virtual/unseen/dovecot-virtual file which contains: #

Virtual Folder configuration problem. [FIXED]
Well, it took a ton of time and research, but I finally have a working Unread virtual mailbox on Dovecot 2.x on Centos 6.0. I have no idea if it's optimal or correct, but it works perfectly and doesn't raise any errors or warnings. Here's what I ended up with: dovecot.conf: Add the following: mail_plugins = $mail_plugins virtual namespace { type = private prefix =

Coredump using virtual folder.
Hi, I'm using dovecot 1.2rc2 and I have the following issues with the virtual folder: 1. The virtual folders are flagged with \Noselect and at least thunderbird does not offer to select them. Adding them to the subscriptions file works fine and the folder can be used after that. 2. Two basic virtual work just fine like: $ cat virtual/all/dovecot-virtual INBOX INBOX.Ordner.work.archive.*

strange behaviour with seen/unseen messages in virtual folders.
Hi, I've a virtual folder that contains unseen messages. When I mark the message and expunge the folder, the message should disappear. This works as expected in alpine. Alpine uses the following commands: 06000010 STORE 1 +Flags (\SEEN) 06000020 EXPUNGE Using roundcube mail, the message wont disappear, when I perform the same steps. RoundCube Mails sends: flg UID STORE 445 +FLAGS

2.1.rc1 (056934abd2ef): virtual plugin mailbox search pattern
Hello Timo, With dovecot 2.1.rc1 (056934abd2ef) there seems to be something wrong with virtual plugin mailbox search patterns. I'm using a virtual mailbox 'unread' with the following dovecot-virtual file $ cat dovecot-virtual * unseen For testing propose I created the following folders with each containing one unread message INBOX, INBOX/level1 and INBOX/level1/level2

Cannot STORE \Seen flag on some mails
Hi, I'm running Dovecot 1.2.17 on FreeBSD (exact output of 'dovecot -n' is atttached to this mail). The machine is serving a public mailinglist archive which is read-only; all mail arriving for the archive is marked as \Seen using Sieve script. This setup works well most of the time, but I noticed that for *some* mails, the \Seen flag doesn't seem to be stored. Right now I

2.2.18 Regression: Incorrect STATUS response for virtual mailboxes
As shown below, adding a message to TRASH doesn't increase virtual/test's MESSAGES count. However SELECTing virtual/test triggers the increase; so does running `doveadm mailbox status vsize virtual/test` in another shell. $ mkdir -m0700 ~/mail/virtual/test $ echo -e "TRASH\n\tall" > ~/mail/virtual/test/dovecot-virtual $ /usr/lib/dovecot/imap S: * PREAUTH [CAPABILITY

Segfault when deselecting virtual folder 2.2.13+ HG TIP
Hello, I'm seeing a segfault in the imap process with the current mercurial tip (including changeset 17382 e99cd21e1f92) when selecting a particular virtual mail folder (but no other virtual mailboxes) and then selecting a different mail folder as in the IMAP transcript below. The same segfaults are triggered with IMAP clients. The situation is worse with the 2.2.13 which segfaults when

Problem with virtual folders
Hi, I'm trying to activate some virtual folders on a new installed dovecot server. My plan is to have two virtual folders like "All" and perhaps "Unseen", like Gmail style for the first step. - All: lists me all messages in the users mailbox - Unseen: all unseen messages in the users mailbox I'm using dovecot EE Release: ii dovecot-ee-core

Virtual mailboxes
Virtual mailbox support can be tested with: hg clone http://hg.dovecot.org/dovecot-virtualboxes/ The code is still pretty non-optimized and I've only done some small tests, but at least it appears to work. Messages can't yet saved to virtual mailboxes, but I was thinking that the first configured mailbox could be used as the save destination. Configuration goes like: mail_plugins =
