sieve does not seem to be working
Hello Robert,
You said that the script worked when you ran it with sieve-test, proabably as root user, but not when you sent an e-mail with sendmail, which I guess would run it as the dovecot user (probably vmail as you said you changed the ownership of the e-mail to vmail:mail ?)
You forgot to show us the file permissions on the script and the folder containing it. A namei -l on the whole path

How do I share folders ?
Hello dovecot,
First poster here.
What I want : give a.chaouche at algerian-radio.dz list and read permissions on a.chaouche at backup.algerian-radio.dz. Let's just discuss sharing the inbox then I can do the same for subfolders, in any. a.chaouche at algerian-radio.dz and a.chaouche at backup.algerian-radio.dz are two different users. Details about the domains aren't relevant here I

More on amavis/clam permission errors on Centos 6.3
I should probably find either the amavis or clam list(s) and take this
there?
Anyway, I have totally rebuilt my machine with clean installs. I have
spent time carefully (I hope!) studying the amavis and clamav conf files
before starting them and running the tests. Here is what I am getting:
Jan 30 14:14:10 test1 postfix/pickup[6682]: DA8082A099B: uid=0 from=<root>

quota rules for mail users
Dear All,
Is it possible to make quota rules under $HOME/Maildir/* mailboxes with
a specific command such as 'edquota' when the first email arrives at the
$HOME/Maildir/{new,cur,tmp} of a user. In the below example, the <UserB>
is the one who gets an email for the first time.
edquota -p <UserA> <UserB>
---man edquot---
-p, --prototype=protoname

Thunderbird not able to edit sieve Message Filters
I'm not sure when this problem first occurred - it is many months since
I last editted a sieve filter. I am certainly several versions of
Thunderbird and, probably, a few versions of Dovecot on from when I last
editted a sieve filter. However, I do know that I have done so in the past.
I have just built Dovecot 2.2.13 and Pigeonhole 0.4.3, installed and
running on Slackware 14.1 x64.

The challenge of customizing Dovecot
I have been running Dovecot for sometime, but I have just used someone
else efforts on customizing it. Many of these throw out the
dovecot/conf.d files for a single dovecot.conf with no explanation on
what does what. So tell you a few conf.d files to edit.
So over the past few days, I have rolled up my sleeves and did my best
to work out how to modify the proper conf.d files. To 'stay

I don't get that reading:

Either file or directory. If a file, it searches for the svbin

disable quota for all users
Dear all,
On a new server (postfix dovecot postfixadmin Centos)
I did define quota=0 in postfixadmin
However suddenly a user with more than 9Gb of mail got his mailbox new/cur

sample, windows & vbr
Hi, I'm a newbie to audio compression. And I have
several question about ogg.
1. How many bits a vorbis sample take ? does the
sample size 16 bits ? like the mp3 ? CMIIW
2. How do a decoder recognize how many sample it takes
in a second ? does it related with the code books ?
4. Does vorbis use VBR ?
3. What is function of the Windows ? and what is the
output of the windows ?
Thanks
