Pigeonhole, vacation being sent incorrectly
Hi,
I have an issue with a vacation message in a sieve script. I can't see
an error in the script itself.
Pigeonhole version: 0.4.2-32
Dovecot Version: 2.2.10
The script was created by Ingo (part of the Horde suite), but I think
the script is fine. The problem is that when a message is sent to the
"everyone" group (and alias for every person in the organisation),

Case sensitive problem for vacation with dovecot lmtp pigeonhole
Hi list,
This issue was raised here by John Fawcett on 12/02/19 but got no response.
So, as I'm facing the same issue, I would like to try again:
When using the vacation sieve extension, if I send an email to
user.name at mydomain.com it will work, but not to User.Name at mydomain.com.
Is there a way to make the user part case insensitive so that the
vacation auto-reply is fired whatever

Multiple vacation
Hi all
I'm using Dovecot 2.2.9 and I'm having problems configuring multiple
vacation actions.
The problem is that I'd like to have two different senders and two
different messages, selecting the correct case by the recipient email
address.
I mean, if someone writes me to my email address "to-address1 at example.com"
I'd like to answer from "from-address1 at

sieve pigeonhole vacation filter responding when recipient is not explicitly listed
Hi dovecot.org,
When I set up vacation filter for a mailbox, the vacation response is
generated even though none of the addresses in the email are same as the
mailbox address itself.
I have example email sent to "aliastouser at mpathix.com" which gets
delivered to "user at my.domain.com" by dovecot-lda.
The invocation command is:
# /usr/lib/dovecot/dovecot-lda \
-d

Sieve problem: No vacation message when mail is addressed to an alias of the mailbox.
Hi,
I?m facing here a wierd problem: We have a vacation messaging system
using sieve. When activated the system forwards incomming messages to a
given address and sents an out of office reply to the sender. This works
like a charm when the mail is addressed to mailbox at domain. When the
incomming mail ist addressed to alias.to.mailbox at domain the mail is
delivered to the mailbox, it is

speaking of sieve scripts... how to selectively not send vacation autoreply
Don't need to block anyone like in the "Re: Dovecot Oy merger with
Open-Xchange AG" thread, but when I have my vacation recipie active, I'd like
it to NOT reply to certain addresses.
I tried the following, you can see the section with
if header :contains "addressIdontwant at repliedtoo.tld"
is commented out, once I'd added that section, no Vacation messages

Hello,
Another wrinkle with vacation replies. I have user forwarding their

Here is the dovecot script file:

sieve & vacation - ignores "days" parameter
Hi,
I am going further with dovecot configuration.
Finally managed to configure roundcube 0.3 with managesieve plugin.
And it works, although... not perfectly :(
For some issues probably roundcube-managesieve is guilty, but simply the
sieve plugins seems to work wrong.
Here is my sieve file:
require ["vacation","fileinto"];
# rule:[wakacje]

sieve vacation response
Hello,
we're implementing a dovecot 1.2.1 with sieve 0.1.7 and managesieve 0.11.7.
We're having problems with creating sieve scripts so that vacation works.
Our script looks like this:
require ["fileinto", "vacation"];
if address :matches ["To", "Cc"] "*someone at example.com*" {
if not header :matches "X-Spam-Status"

Dovecot pigeonhole help sought
I'm running postfix + dovecot + dovecot-pigeonhole
on my CentOS-7 home server.
I would like spam to finish up in ~/Maildir/.Spam/ .
Spam is being marked, but is not separated -
it ends up with all the other email in ~/Maildir/cur/ .
Evidently there is some step I have omitted to take.
I give the output of "sudo doveconf -n" below.
The file ~/.dovecot.sieve reads:

sieve sending vacation message from vmail@ns1.domain.tld
Also, please provide an example scenario; i.e., for one problematic
delivery provide:
- The values of the variables substituted in the dovecot-lda command
line; i.e., provide that command line.
- The incoming e-mail message.
Regards,
Stephan.

Could you send your configuration (output from `dovecot -n`)?
Also, please provide an example scenario; i.e., for one problematic
delivery provide:
- The values of the variables substituted below.
- The incoming e-mail message.
- The Sieve script (or at least that vacation command).
Regards,
Stephan.

vacation script issue
Hello,
I have a complete Postfix + Dovecot + openLDAP setup almost working, the
only issue I have is the vacation script auto-reply that doesn't work
properly.
If I send an email to a user with the vacation filter enabled, the
auto-reply is send to a local recipient with the same account name.
So for example if I send a mail from test at xyz.com to test at example.com, the
auto-reply is

sieve vacation question
Hello Stephan,
I love to use the vacation extension to build an echo service.
I have not to worry about whether to answer or not if the sender is a list,
postmaster, mailer-daemon or other crasy thing.
But i like to echo the *complete headers* back.
I did not found a solution with sieve yet. Is it really impossible?
Thanks

Sieve vacation variables reference
Hi There.
We are using dovecot v2.2.4 with pigeonhole 0.4.1 (both compiled from source) Centos 6.4.
Sorry for the dumb question in advance if I'm just missing an obvious link somewhere (also if I've got the terminology all wrong!), but could someone point me to the reference list for "vacation", e.g.:
