quota-warning: possible to have size also?
Hi, I'am using a Maildir++ based quota setting which creates a maildirsize file in every Maildir. The first two lines of this file are the maximum quota in bytes then the actual consumption in bytes and number of messages, like so : 1073741824S 379317999 5169 This means this user has a quota of 1Gb and he is using ~ 379 Mb (you have to divide by 1024 to be more precise) Since the

possible quota bug ?
Hi, I'm using dovecot 2.2.5 with quota (maildir backend), zlib and expunge plugins. When I list maildirsize file, I get: 1073741824S 17952 16 If I receive a new message (example: 1204 bytes compressed and 2524 bytes plain text), the quota file is write correctly (2524 1 entry). When I move the message to trash folder (or between user custom folders) the file have wrong entries:

Conflict -> Dovecot + Maildrop (maildirsize)
-----BEGIN PGP SIGNED MESSAGE----- Hash: SHA1 I'm having some problems with quota from sql (maildir++) and dovecot + maildrop. I'm using maildrop for MDA and dovecot as IMAP server. When an e-mail arrives, maildrop calculates the quota and updates the 'maildirsize' file. When i use dovecot (webmail, thunderbird) it updates the 'maildirsize' too, overwriting it, but in a

quota rules for mail users
Dear All, Is it possible to make quota rules under $HOME/Maildir/* mailboxes with a specific command such as 'edquota' when the first email arrives at the $HOME/Maildir/{new,cur,tmp} of a user. In the below example, the <UserB> is the one who gets an email for the first time. edquota -p <UserA> <UserB> ---man edquot--- -p, --prototype=protoname Duplicate the

Problem with large files
Hi we have samba 3.0.14a on FreeBSD 5.4. We tried with different kind of locking and oplocks (both enabled and disabled). If we try to copy from a Windows XP client a file larger than 3g, we get these error: Cannot copy XXX. The specified network name is no longer available. We traced this problem in the logs (log level 10) and we got this error ------------ [2006/09/19 10:29:41, 5]

I am curious to know how did you define the filter on an alias in the first place ? is it a filter defined globaly in dovecot ? I don't see how it can be defined in any individual mailbox. Can you show the dovecot/sieve configuration to achieve this ? Yassine. On 3/10/19 11:40 AM, Monis Monther via dovecot wrote: > Hi Yassine, > > Thanks for the effort, unfortunately, we cannot

Odd/Incorrect Quota Reporting on Dovecot 1.2.4 & FreeBSD4
Hi, Am seeing an odd problem on an old FreeBSD 4.11 box that I'm trying to get courier off, and dovecot on. At the same time, I'm trying to put some fairly simple quota support on, but getting very odd results. I think it might be better described with the log below, but, the gist of it is this: I have set a 1GB quota, and I was getting intermittent reports on the quota usage -
